On the other hand they preserve the precision and quality jobs in Germany. We Americans just buy everything and give e the Chinese the well paying tasks. As a little side note, I don't think Germans know how many German companies are owned Chinese .

Dude climate change is a natural thing. Doesn’t matter if you build the panels locally or to the other side of the world. It is inevitable and humans can’t do anything about it. The earth and the sun have their cycles and won’t ask you how they’re going to work, neither they care if you have feelings or you think that you can do something about it.

Most likely it runs a special software linking to a special hardware/machine that may not be compatible with the current Windows. So even if the computer dies today and you get a new one, you still install Windows 7 on it. Besides these do not normally connect to the internet. You dont want Windows update in the middle of the production.
