Just remember it’s only for upshifts you will destroy the tranny going down so now you going proper direction fine tune the kill times so you lose less rpms between shifts with keeping it smooth
@@ADRRUSH well they don’t really explain all that but it’s designed so you can run gp shift or standard so it makes you think hey I can QS while going down also because there’s settings for it I thought the same thing myself at first but you gotta have the autoblip to do it safely so mine is setup for gp shift so I turn up shifting off so once you get it dailed in good rerun against that R6 in prev vid and show everyone the diff because a clutch shift or bump shift still can’t top a QS frfr enjoy and y’all stay safe

The way you installed it now, on top of the shifter linkage, its usable for downshifts also. Mount it a bit lower, on top of the straight 'bar', and its for upshifts only
Great review on this great shifter. I am not mechanically inclined and took to a local mechanic and he had no idea how to install It. Seems to be fairly straightforward but cannot find anyone to install it.😒
@@jj-tq4hxjust make sure depending on your bike it'll either be coil pack plugs tie in or fuel injector plugs tie in, I made the mistake of only plugging in one not realizing I had to tie into both
Can someone please help. When I'm in the setup wizard all steps except for step 6 are fine, the problem I got in step six is that the app is saying pull clutch in with engine running and do three changes up and then back down, I can only do one change up then it won't go no further or it's like hitting false neutral between each gear and then I have to slightly release clutch leaver for it to engage. Then on the app it's showing as at the most 9-11% sensor value and 20 or 40% sensor threshold. I've tried the bike at these settings and I got all sorts of problems like in first gear when I release the clutch the bike is jumpy and will snatch or I'm getting the odd false neutral. I've tried fine tuning the shifter but nothing happens, if anything it gets worse. Please any help would be very appreciated.
Did you get the sensitivity where it doesn't go off by accidentally touching the Shifter? I've got custom 650$ fairings on the way and a bunch of carbon parts for my 2016 gsxr600 and am thinking about adding a quickshifter for fun. If so, how would you say it is as far as installation, user compatibility, etc. Love the sound of the bike and quickshifter setup you have.
Yes, i adjusted the sensitivity. As soon as you install the quick shifter you need to calibrated to your bike. It works good now. Installation was fairly easy, and compatibility is good.
I installed one on my bike but I can’t get it to connect to my phone I’ve tried both apps Bluetooth and WiFi and it hasn’t been working so I can’t connect to proceed with set up got any advice ?
Is there somebody who can help me to fine tune the sensor and the cutoff times, because I fill like the shifter its a little to hard, when I want to shift…
So I activated the noise filtering problem was solved, everything was working perfectly. On the way back stopped working, shifts became hard all of the sudden, and would only change at really high rpm, so confused I didn't change anything for that to happen.

@@903assengsxr7 It will not destroy your trans. It needs a little "help" with some light throttle but it's perfectly safe.

It's easy to install. You should be able to install it your self.

I didn't have that issue. Definitely contact the manufacturer or the distributor

Set your sensor cut off to 55 and test it. If you feel that you need more increase the number to 60 and test that.
After having it a year would u recommend getting it still? I'm on the fence about it

I'm I correct in assuming you can't select cut time in individual gears with this unit?
You can adjust cut time with this shifter. Just not by RPM. It's a excellent shifter for the price range
no power loss from heal tec . keep foot off shifter. remap too
