when I first heard this song...I was in jail...when I listened to the words, it really touched my heart as I was in tears cause I felt this great feeling (goosebumps) running through my body and I felt his presence...I been saved a year today and GOD has been sooo good to me and blessed me with a lot of things and brought me close to my friends and family spiritually and emotionally. I played this for my sister a couple of minutes ago. She's been hospitalized with acute pancreatitis for 24 days now. It made her tear up but not because of sadness, but because of its message. Please pray so that my sister has a speedy recovery. Thank you God bless.
Update 2020: Wow I am moved at all these comments I just saw all these notifications when I logged into YT with my laptop. My sister is doing great now, all prayers were heard. She now has a beautiful 6yr old girl who was months old when my sister was hospitalized. My nephew is 3yrs old now, she had him three years after I posted this comment!
Look, this is no joke. God heals. My sister is healthy and she is taking care of herself. She has to watch her sugar because her pancreas was the issue, but she's healthy and my family has been restored. I will forever be thankful for all the love in this thread. Thank you, and to God be the glory forever.

She was at UF Shands in Gainesville, FL for 2 months. She had a part of her pancreas removed and also her spleen and gallbladder. She's healed thanks to our Lord and Dr. Berhns. She's recovering day by day and now it's like nothing ever happened, God is merciful and just, if we love Him and just simply believe in Him, He will show us all His wonders. I'm a witness to that, my sister had a 30% chance of survival, but God listens to his children.

Just got in a car accident. My little bro was in the passenger man. The guy that hit us had to be doing at least like 60 miles an hour in a 40. It was on my little bros side and man he legit could've died. I've always believed in God. I call myself a christian but I don't really act like one. This past 2 weeks tho I've really realized I am so blessed and today I literally could have died and the only reason I'm sitting at my desk right now typing this is because of God. My mom is a drinker. Ever since I was born she would say she hated me and my sisters. She even told my sister she wanted her dead. She still struggles with drinking and mine and her relationship is failing because of it. (Update) : I'm now no longer a child. I'm a full grown adult. My fiance was just sent to jail for domestic assault. I'm missing my life partner and other half.. Pray that the Lord helps him heal.. Please pray that the Lord holds us both and guides us through this...

I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

A couple years ago during my church's vacation bible school I heard this verse 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. I heard that verse once and I never forgot it, whenever I was afraid I would say this verse and I was no longer afraid.

I’m going through a breakup I’m constantly praying for the restoration of our relationship as i really feel we are meant to be n god has revealed that to me so as i was praying today n listening to various gospel worship songs after that i was just thinking that how hard satan is trying to attack my relationship n reconciliation with my partner i prayed about it n went for a bath while that i suddenly started singing ‘ N if our god is for us then who could ever stop us n if our god is with us then what could stand against’ then i thought wow did i just get my answer then i thought maybe I listened to this song today that’s why its playing in my head but then i searched it on youtube I didn’t hear this song since a long time i suddenly was like wow this is the answer i needed this is the answer from my saviour jesus christ the ways in which jesus answers to our prayers is like so overwhelming 😭i am so positive n happy rn i believe i will receive in Jesus name amen

It's funny you should say that because I wasn't a believer at all when I commented a year ago, and now I am. I've been through some trials since then and found myself turning to God for help and forgiveness. I felt instant peace after prayer and it's the only thing that got me through some of those tough times. It's funny how things change.
and you're right, religion means nothing. I understand a few languages and I listen to worship songs in several languages and every song makes me feel the same. There is only one God.

I’ve been listening to this song since I was little. I fell out of my belief in God and fell into witchcraft and I became extremely depressed and started to struggle with self harm. I couldn’t even get out of bed most days. I had started dating a guy and 8 months ago me and him broke up. He was my first love, I was absolutely crushed but I picked myself up and decided I needed to get out of my Wiccan phase and go back to that sweet loving Christian country girl who had goals and high expectations for myself. I now believe in God again, I started going to church and youth group more often and I am way happier now. As soon as I started believing again, I became happy again. I stopped self harming, I stopped witchcraft, and 7-8 months later, I am over my ex finally. I have goals again too. That’s the power of god. That’s how powerful he can be and how forgiving he is. I thank god everyday because I truly believe that’s what helped me out of that dark place and made me happier and stronger. God bless all of you❤️
