I got the same bike same color. Love it. I got it used with 825 miles for 4K. I’m getting that exhaust for it too but in black.
I have a 2016 R3 Silver/red accents. Started riding 2 months ago and already filtering and doing some highway. I live in LA and ride every day even if I don’t have work. It’s so fun and adrenaline rushing. I’ve done a couple group rides with a buddy and the Sena really helps. I have so far about 900 miles. Glad to see you riding again, it must be freezing.

@@denkii Its been over a year and I've learned a lot from it, if you new into motorcycles I definitely say getting the R3 to see if your into it or not is something doing, I've now moved onto the R6 and jumping into 600 is rather scary vs going to 300 then 600 as I was able to grasp concepts from riding a 300 into a 600 :) but overall the R3 is a solid bike
I've been on the R3 for a week. How is it on the highway for you? I felt like I was getting blown around at 60.
I rode earlier tonight in 37 degree weather. When I first went out my visor kept fogging up. When I rode back home I put on my face mask before my helmet and I had no fog up's. Not sure how well your audio would pick up with a mask on but it's worth a try. 2019 matte black bought new in July 2019 and I only have a little over 2,500 miles on it. I wish I could ride more, crazy work schedule. I had planned on selling my r3 as well and getting a r6 but I decided to keep the r3 even if I get a bigger bike. Spring can't get here quick enough!
I feel that bro! I’ll have to try a face shield, and see how that works. I will also be keeping my R3 for a while, can’t wait for spring!

My Yamaha R3 is a 2020 in Blue/Matt Gray color and already 2 months since it was bought. It is my first motorbike, so 2 months as well riding it and I am a late rider at age 49. Thinking of upgrading too after I gain all the confidence I need in 2 wheels but I will not let go of my R3 since it is my first love. I will be changing my fender next year with TST fender eliminator and thinking of getting Yamaha's original R3 frame slider then replace turn indicator from TST as well.

Cool you're back! I ride to work every morning in 30 degree my visor fogs up too. I leave it open just a little bit after a few blocks it stops fogging. I'll open it at stop lights and close it when i take off. Luv my 2017 R3 it's blue like your bike just the front wheel cover is also blue. I'll look into the blue flush mounts you have i like how they look. Need wind proof winter gloves and wind proof pants and jacket makes a big difference riding in the cold. Ride safe brotha!✌

Hey man cool video, have the same bike same color and same model 2020 , also same exhaust system haha, but I bought it this way about a week ago with 700 mile.
Little about me , I just took the basic riding course and got my license in pheonix Arizona, I was always into bikes but never had the chance and the guts to learn until now, after 4 deployments overseas and made it back for good 3 months ago, I decided to commit to learn how to ride while I have the time.
I'm not very good yet to be honest so I'm taking it slow, just riding it to the gym and back its about 1 mile of a ride haha, but it helps. I'm having fun and that's what's matters.
I wish you a happy holidays, your videos really inspired me and the other new riders here so please keep doing that.

I know this video is like 3 years old but have you gotten a pinlock (If your visor is pinlock ready) to get rid of the fog issues? It seriously helps so much

Check out the Shoei GT AIR 2 helmet, pinlock included, super comfortable and light helmet worth every penny.
Get a visor with capabilities of adding a pinlock won't fog up.

Hi mate I’m from Australia and thinking of getting a R3 the monster energy special edition for my first bike I’ve rode lots of dirt bikes but looking into getting a sports bike my question to you is in Australia when you get your learners license to ride a bike it can not exceed 300cc for the first 3 years until you get your full license is it different where you are from because I heard you say you wanted to get a R6 also that person with no helmet surely that’s not legal.
