- Hi Besties take out your glitter we are making some Gingerbread DIY house decorations. We are going to use some dollar tree gingerbread houses. I am so excited for all the Gingerbread goodies like clay Gingerbread, faux foam toppers, gum drops, and cotton candy. My Christmas tree is called "Christmas Treats".
I was inspired to create this for my grandchildren, because they love to cook and bake with me. I'm in love with Gingerbread boys and girls so that's the very common theme throughout everything that I decorate with at Christmas time however, my tree is also, decorated with slices of cake, slices of pie, lollipops, old fashioned candies, I created chocolate bonbons and fake brownies, they're peppermint candies, I created little miniature Cafe'au laits, off of my medicine bottles and miniature cups about an inch and a quarter tall from the Dollar Tree that are plastic see-through, I also made fake hot chocolates and use the little paper straws I cut off about an inch of straw or less to use on them, I also made fake cupcakes with sprinkles and much much more I can't even remember all the things I've made. First saw the tree three years ago so they were about two and a half years old and four; they didn't know what to do with themselves so that the tradition is, that we decorated together. My grandchildren absolutely love to play with apple cinnamon dough, air-dry clay & salt dough. They have such a great time and I've got some rolling pins that I bought at the Goodwill so they roll out their dough and cut it and I have to say they're very creative; my grandson is seven and he made a donut all by himself, without any help and it looked real. He even used his fingers to shape the icing dripping on the top of the donut dripping down to the bottom then he took little tiny bits of air-dry clay and made sprinkles and I have to say the donut is gorgeous very heavy but gorgeous so I'm going to use it on my tier tray. He wanted me to know that he made it for me it'll be a keepsake forever. I told them, that someday, when I'm very old and I go to heaven they can divide all of the ornaments between themselves if they promise not to argue and fight and it'll be keepsakes, their children and grandchildren. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Everything was cute I made the tops for the gingerbread mugs but I cut the styrofoam balls in hair so they wasn't so high and it still came out so cute thank you for sharing the video your daughter is a good crafter also
