we are working on making the foams for such light cars even softer
I have two them on two trucks and really love them
The foams for the Tusk are now also ready, 38x114.
Ahh nice!
Run them for years in my TRX4 Sport every condition rain, snow, mud ,i am impressed. They never suck water like traditional foams.
That truck is super quiet and looks like it can conquer anything. Awesome truck and awesome video as usual
We need some for the scx24
How about you do a video comparing the Alt Foams on different weighted vehicles? I would love to get your feedback on the optimal vehicle weight for each of the foam densities.
👍
I was thinking it's different for you with many different trucks you can just swap out the foams to a different vehicle but maybe someone that only has one vehicle or two they could start by drilling a hole (side to side) all the way through maybe four of the existing spaces, that should allow more foam compression.
Putting holes in soft foam isn't something you do with a hand drill, it rips it apart. Typically they use high rpm routers to cut foam.
@@siedpe13 Yeah there are many different ways to cut foam Like using hot wires or even a razor blade would get the job done. I was just giving an idea for someone that may have ordered these foams and found them too stiff for their vehicle weight.
@@blindj this is a special foam that cannot be cut with a hot wire or a sharp knife
I want a price on how much it would cost for you to build me super light with the DSM and your logos if you'd be willing to I would never change the logos always Rock it
Half the fun is building them yourself.
Are you a member of the Exocaged RC Facebook group? Might find some help there
