🇺🇸 Sound on for more suspense! During our desperate search (and I insist on the word "desperate") for the renowned black panther "Saaya" in the Kabini jungle, we had an incredible encounter with an entire tiger family: "Kismet" (Destiny in English) a beautiful mother with her 3 cubs and "Bold Guy", a son from a previous litter. We didn't find the panther, but how lucky that was to see 5 tigers at once!
A zillion thanks to our guide: Mithoun ( / mithunhphotography )

I have some awesome good news everyone! Mithoun, our guide in Kabini, just reported that all 3 cubs are well and super healthy. Kismet is such a great mother!
That's rare to capture mum, dad and kids moving together. Amazing work team.
Yes very rare indeed.
Read the description, its not the father but a son from previous litter
Yes, as per information available on the internet, it's been observed once in kabini (ref this video) and once in tadoba
Perfect...black panther of kabini r these days seen by tourists
perhaps, the best cat family video on the CZcams Planet... kudos 😘
Thank you so much! So happy you like it! 😻🐅🐾🐾
Thank you so much! It was indeed a truly magical moment. So grateful to have been able to see this and capture the scene, and so happy to share it with animal lovers!
@Anand Vikamshi and a terrific guide called Mithoun. He knows the forest like the back of his hand.
How rare to see the whole family, how lucky you were. When I was there in Jan 2020 I saw 3 tigers, 2 of them really close up. Then out of nowhere we saw Saaya, the black panther just sitting under a tree in the early morning light. Out of nowhere a female leopard came out of the forest, we thought there was going to be a fight. She walked up to him, flirted a little and laid down and they mated right in front of us. It was unbelievable, I couldnt get over our luck. Kabini is a wonderful place to visit. Thanks for sharing your trip!
@@markwdavis Wow!! That's really really cool. First to see Saaya (we didn't get the chance to see him even though you looked for him for more than 10 days) and second, to see him mating. Awesome! You're right Kabini is fantastic. I'm happy to share!
@@CarolineBecquart we stayed at Kabini River Lodge and met quite a few people who had come for a number of years just to see Saaya and had gone home disappointed, it seems he is quite the heartbreaker but people keep coming back in the hope they will see this stunning animal. We did feel a little guilty that we were the only jeep to see him and for us on day 3. Will you return and try again when the world runs to normal? If so I wish you so much luck!
@@CarolineBecquart here’s my video and you can see Saaya, please note its nowhere near as good quality as yours. Hope you enjoy!

Awesome video! Thanks for visiting Nagarahole. My heart started racing when the Chital herd gave the alarm call and then, there it was, "Pure Magic"!
Thank you so much! It makes really me really happy you enjoyed the video, the suspense, and as you say, the magic at the end. If the film allows you to experience a little bit of the same emotions I had when seeing those beauties, I am thrilled! Love to share! Cheers!
what a beautiful animal ...... lovely capture
Thank you so much !!
Magnificent!!! Great quality of video.
Lucky cub’s to live with both mom & dad.
Thank you so much ! 😻😻
Mom and big bro you mean
Excellent! I watched this with my eyes wide open and commend you both for professionalism in editing and photography and for giving us this wonderful footage. Eager to see what you put out next.
Oh thank you ! Thank you!! 😉😋😊
Crisp and wonderful snapshot of wildlife.
Thank you! 😻😻🐾🐾
Fantastic, driver Rajesh is highly skilled. Plz release the video with out background music ... those tiger natural sound would be amazing
Thank you! Rajesh is an excellent driver. I wish I could deliver the video with the natural tiger sounds but I have close to nothing. Between people talking, the photographers taking photos (click click click) and the motor of the jeep running most of the time, I don’t have much. Took me a lot of time taking out the “artificial noise” to end up very few original sounds.... not enough... But you’re absolutely right, love the sound they make!
Great work and best shots......keep going🤗👏👌.
Thank you so much!! 😻😻🐾🐾 Working on more videos. Coming up soon!
Thanks for the video .So beautifully shooted .we love Tigers
Thank you so much! It was a very special moment and I’m so happy I could share it ! More to come...

Oh yes! I wish so too! 😻😻
Zoolyric, I have some very good news. Our guide, Mithoun, has reported that all 3 cubs are well, all grown up and super healthy! So happy about that! Kismet is the best mother!!
It look like two brothers movie type tiger family ...
Nice family... Cute kids

The real king and queen..
Amazing...
Thank you so much! 🐾😻😻
Amazing video 👍
You have captured Nagarahole forest amazingly. Leopard too should have made its presence felt.
Thank you so much! Funny you mentioned leopards. I am working on a separate video with Kate, one of the leopards we have the chance to see in Kabini. Love leopards too! So beautiful ! All These short videos on Kabini are « episodes » that are parts of a long video I will be posted soon! More to come: Dholes and black bears also... Cheers! 😻😻🐾🐾
@@CarolineBecquart Thank you.. Looking forward to the long video.
Watching first time... Tiger dad with kids... usually they are solitary not live like lions
Hello Mirza! The male tiger is actually not the dad but a son from a previous litter. Nonetheless, it is still unusual. As you say, tigers are solitary animals when they become sexually mature. Apparently, there have been such sightings in other reserves. For me, it was the very first time I was seeing a tiger family with mama, cubs and older son. So cool! 😻😻🐾🐾
Amazing Shots
Thank you so much!! 🐾🐾
awesome video composition, love the background score too..
Thank you so very much! Love to add music to my videos to stir up the suspense, move and inspire the viewers! 😻🐾
Excellent, thank you 🙏
Thank you to you! 🐾😻😻

Nice work...
Thank you so very much!
De bien belles images de cette petite famille ;-)
Un grand merci! 😻😻
youngest couple tiger family
🔥🔥🔥🎉 superb
Thank you so much ! 🙏🙏
Its funny how a lot of the time animal dads are better than human dads
So true ! 😻😻
Well, that was not the dad, but elder brother 😊 just saying
@@difficultdam Yes! In this particular case, the big male is not the dad of the 3 cubs, but one of Kismet's son from a previous litter, which makes the situation even more unusual.
@@difficultdam if it was than the son the mom would not tolerate him there cause he poses a potential threat to the cubs and the dad would have kicked him out long ago
@@rickstar6276 Hello Ricky! The subadult male seen in this video is indeed a son from a previous litter. Kismet, the mother, tolerates him while taking care of her 3 young cubs. There is another example of such a behavior in Tabida Andhari TR in Maharashtra where the queen of Telia Lake, Sonam was seen with 4 cubs, the dominant male Bajrang and another male from a previous litter Rocket male... Thank you Vincent Dabadie for this precious information.
Where did you guys stay?
Hello! We Stayed at the Evolve Back.
@@CarolineBecquart Oh that's nice!
So they hooked you guys up with the jeep for the Safari?
@@harshparikh7898 Yes, they did! They also organized boat safaris.
