My wife and I just saw Sara Evans in concert tonight at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe PA. What a beautiful lady with an incredible voice. She held some notes so long that the audience gasped in amazement. And she is a true class act. Sara saw a young girl with a small poster saying it was her birthday, so Sara stopped to talk to her and then got the whole venue and the band to sing "Happy Birthday" to her, and then signed an autograph for her. Definitely a good night for all that attended tonight!

A few years ago I got to drink Jim Beam with Troy and Eddie(Montgomery Gentry)on their Tour Bus, my buddy writes with Eddie,..as a matter of fact he wrote their last hit song "Back When I knew It All", his name is Gary Hannan, he's from South Africa, but moved to Nashville a couple years ago,.he's a great guy. I played at Schooner's Tiki Bar in Bluewater Bay last night,...there had to be over 100 people crammed onto that little deck,lots of dancing, a good time was had by all. It was a farewell to the old Tiki Hut Bar, they just built a new one on the opposite end of the restaurant, we are going to be playing quite a bit there, most likely next Sat night,..I'll let you know. I had to learn this song, but do it in the Edwin McCain version,...I think he wrote it,..great tune!
