The Valiant with its short range is great for the Mysterious Guardian enhancement to teleport him into the back lines where prime targets for the conflagration cannon and the things they are trying to protect from that harpoon will be hiding.

My friend and I are planning a game (it will be our first game of 10th edition, last time I played was 8th). He is planning on brining Orks, which includes a Stompa and Gorkanaut/Morkanaut, and some other hodge podge of units (I believe he is more into "collecting" and painting than army building.) I had told him before I wanted to use my Knights, as I haven't had just a pure game with them, plus I don't like painting models due to the tedium, so the fewer number of small models to paint, the better. I currently have 8 Armigers (4 helvrines, 4 warglaives), 1 Castellan and 1 Valiant. That obviously isn't my army list, I'm planning on getting at least one Questoris knight before our game (I'm hoping 3 if everything works out). We tallied the points of his Ork Army and I believe we settled on a 2,400pt game (that lets him bring his entire collection, which is fine with me). So I'm trying to think of an army list for our game. It's only meant to be a "fun" game, but I'm genuinely worried about the Stompa. I originally thought it was in the same vein as Knights and his Gorkanaut/Morkanaut, but its stats seem to be closer to that of a slightly squishier Titan. Either that or 3 warglaives. They're designed for taking down vehicles pretty well and now you'll have three of them to take in. Both them and Canis Rex are the best options for this.

I have been thinking about running a Crusader with my Adepta Sororitas army. For sometime I have been wondering about adding a armiger warglavie as the squire of the Crusader. From my reading of the rules, bondsman can be used even if your faction is not Imperial Knights. Is that correct? In Chilvalry code it is specified that that rule is applied only if your army is Imperial Knights, but under bondsman, the only limitation is that the target must be an armiger. I think that the combination of the two, together with the rest of my sisters it can be quite good. Sadly they neither gain nor use miracle dice, and maybe bondsman doesn't work like I think it does. Redemptors have to overcharge their plasma cannon to get S9 and D3.
I've been wanting to start a Chaos Knights army, and with my birthday being in September it would be such nice timing if I happened to win the giveaway!
Deciding an army to invest into is hard when no army is known for providing a very wider array of options in terms of units/weapons and vehicles knight are great, but wheres the support type knights or missle heavy types? Shield knights!? No! I know they come WITH shielding, but like offense systems work with that knight archetype? I still gunna get knights!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Too bad i dont have facebook.
