Kayak Outfitted With Milwaukee Packouts

Today I take my and my wife's kayaks and upgrade them by adding a Milwaukee Packout mount to each. Why you may ask? it just makes things easy to be held down, on top of keeping things dry inside the packout. That way you can comfortably bring your phone along, or a GMRS / FRS radio along or perhaps a first aid, maybe some food, see where I'm going with this? It's very useful and very modular easy to adapt and take advantage of to any 4x4 or towing rig to transport to your kayaking destination, then just move it over to the yak.

I would think you could use teflon tape on the mounting screws just as an extra security on waterproofing.

Thanks for the inspiration Rob! You know I thought about doing extra precautions to waterproof it, but then I thought, the little bit of water that would get in at these screws is not much more risky to add to the 20 something screws Lifetime put in it from the factory, and it has a drain hole for a reason. So just let it bump!
