The over all performance of the bike is great, good on gas milage, slick and clean look, I’ve had mine since 2012 still running, only negative is the paint jobs sun fade quickly and they are easy to steal. Literally someone can walk up d walk away with it. You can buy a key lock for front rotor/break disc. That has alarm to it, which is good. Mine a daily driver.
Mathew, the lil empty hole slot that Has the red bud in it below the gauged is for the rubber end of a mobile mount also there is an alarm system that plugs in there and responds to movement. Sunny sports in Ca (now out of business) sold both accessories for their JL50QT-6A (same as your moped). I have one as well, love it, however maybe you can help me, I’m looking for the ignition key set (my keys missing) ID num if it’s available in the Manuel. Would you still have yours?

my db tommy scooter keeps breaking down had to get a new Lead & Coil new cdi box new mirrors and the whole thing is rusted like ive bought it new 2 years ago she the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy lol but i love her shes my first bike in the long run i would say it payed for it self i use it every day and use it at least 10 miles a do to work

I got this model in 2018, it's been great fun, I have never had an issue with it until now. It will only start on the kick. Where is the spark plug located at ?? The battery is good, the fuse is good, oil is fine, plenty of fuel.
What they told you is wrong, you have an automatic statutory 14 days to return for faulty items, that's the "LAW". The small print is not legally binding. Always get what they say in writing and speak to the ombudsman he will put them straight. Best to make payment via Paypal if you can as they give you 90 days to return an item that is faulty and they will get you a refund. Best of luck!
I ordered a bike from them. The python 125cc scooter for £1099 + £85 delivery. I ordered it from them on the 28th august 2019 and it was a pre order for 10th october. It didnt arrive until 25th november and I've had countless problems.... getting it registered, insured as well as multiple parts breaking.... speedo drive, brake cables, faulty top box. And their customer service is dreadful. They leave you hanging for so long when trying to call them and when you eventually get through they just make out that it's all your fault!!! I'd highly recommend not spending a penny of your money and if you are looking for a cheap chinese scooter go with a more reputable brand such as sinnis or lexmoto!
I appreciate the effort in showing us but as a buyer from d b I have to say the quality of the metal used on the crate is pretty much the same as on the bike.😂

bad support means if you have problems with the bike you are on your own... they don't want to know and you won't get any help, they just want the money.
dont start it straight away emty the transport oils refill whit mc-oil 15-40w or thicker check and empty the gearoil in the back refil whit some premium stuff
My friend has got a chinese scooter as well, and it has a fake red button/light too... i think its just to make it look less plain :) It even has barends with fake molded screws lol... it's fucking hilarious how stupid it is...

Hi everyone, Don’t buy this bike if you’re gonna use in winter and raining cause at the moment I got 2015 bike and it’s giving me lots of problem as it is 50cc and cold start issues and many carburettor problem.
Did my CBT quite a while ago now, I used an old 2 stroke 50cc thing - it had definitely seen better days - and somehow I had managed to stall it when practicing junctions or something. Needless to say it was shocking for myself and the instructor! :P
You have very soon found out about direct bikes public relations ie they don't exist. Direct bikes take every opportunity to wash there hands of any faulty goods that they send.They have featured on bbc watchdog as rogue traders.I don't say all there buyers have trouble but if any do they back away from you rapid.Another major issue is obtaining parts.Running gear ie engine parts are easy to obtain but panels are near impossible to get.Direct bikes do not have a part department as such and point peaple to a company called Chinese motorcycle parts online. They do not own this firm and even though it is a very good firm they will struggle to get panels and trim parts.So buyer beware as they say.

Would you know how to disassemble the headlight to get in and change the lightbulb.
Bought one of these recently can’t fault it really enjoying it, got it cheap and second hand only real issue horn just stopped working.

if you buy them direct from direct bikes you need to register it with the dvla when i did it took about 2-3 months

No all you need is your driving license certificate of peroronicey and a bank statement and your need to go to your local dvla office
