this is almost exactly what I want to build. I want to put it on my deck. and I want a full sun/rain cover. I have had so many cheap gazebos and they keep ripping or crushing in the wind. the only concern with this build is if the cover sags and collects rain and then gets heavy. i might put some cross pieces every foot or two feet to support the canvas. those angle brackets are awesome and prpbably add all the structural support I need. thanks!

What is the type of lumber you used? Red cedar?

It depends on your preference just long as you use 4x4s. Height can be anything, but chose 10 feet. That's the beauty of this system 😁
