In this video I decided to stay at Aloft hotel in Queens right across Manhattan. This is another option for people who want to visit NYC, but stay at a much chiller area, cheaper price and really close to public transportation, and easy commute to Manhattan. The hotel is only a few blocks from Queens Plaza subway lines E, M, and R trains. Once you ride those subway lines, you will be in Manhattan in 10 minutes. The hotel is nice, simple and cozy. Yeah for sure, NYC hotels are cramped and good enough for sleeping lol.. unlike other places, where it's pretty big. I don't mind the views though, and it is cozy looking!

Oh, I have to say this sounds like a perfect solution to stay in NYC! Prices in Manhattan are really high! I hope to finally return to NYC next year, it would be a dream come true for me and I will keep this Hotel in mind.
The location is optimal, the way to get to Manhattan is close and fast and the Hotel is very nice and modern and seems comfortable. The view from the terrace is truly amazing!

Hey Manny, I've seen a few reviews that the rooms aren't sound proof so you could hear people in the hallways/construction site, what was your experience like?
I didn't heard no sounds, but maybe because it was a slow day.
Unfortunately, some of those views will be short-lived due to the ongoing construction.
