I’m not English I’m an Irish Chelsea fan, I know Ireland are a crap football team but that’s because we simply don’t have the players but England have some smashing players and put in a performance like that, I just can’t understand how such good players can play so bad, they were shocking, it was obvious what Slovakia,s tactics were ( let England have as much of the ball as they want until they got into their half and then just press the shit out of England ) maybe against a team that wants to go toe to toe against England they might be better but I doubt it to be honest. I think the pressure the English media and fans put on their team is just too much for the players and to be honest it’s always been like that. England are notorious for losing penalty shootouts and I think it’s because they know they will be crucified by the English media. Most other countries don’t have that pressure on them, international football is really tough because most teams that make it to the finals are good teams with good players and are playing for their country and will run themselves into the ground because of their patriotism
