And then one of the most hyped up moments is when Almight uses his ability and shrinks to his normal form, isn't even as good as people made it out to be! I seen a video of youtube of it on crunchyroll with like 30 million views and was expecting something amazing to happen, and then it was just basic shit, just like the anime.
I hate it because it's a generic highschool drama show, and because of the fandom as well.
MHA is really good, its a perfectly perfect shonen, not as amazing as Hunterxhunter to me but its worth watching!

100% Agreed. It may not be the best anime or “peak fiction” as some say. But it’s still a great anime either way. Down to the story, characters, character designs, character development, most of the fights, the emotions you get with some of these arcs and fights, the callbacks and OST is all amazing.
For some reason it’s a trend to hate on MHA and it gets so much to the point where it feels forced it’s kinda sad. It’s either because people don’t like the fandom, are following the trend or just genuinely don’t like it for some reason.
Those people say the series is “trash” or “mid” but if that were true, than how in the heck is it doing so well. Currently MHA is the top 5 most selling Manga, I saw that it was ranked at number 6 for most watched anime’s and according to parrot analytics, My hero academia is ranked in the top 10 of most in demand series in the US for week 15-21 of October 2022, standing alongside legends like Breaking bad, Rick and Morty and Simpsons.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS ANIME. As a manga reader, the animators definitely did this show justice. Not just the animation too, the story is compelling, lots of heartwarming and heartbreaking moments. Lots of character developments and so much characters to love and protect!!😭 100% would recommend to watch MHA💗
I do not recommend, watched all 6 seasons, read all the chapters of the manga, infuriate the stupid power of friendship and terrible fandom

There are a few moments in each season that are very well animated, but 90% of the content is extremely mid. I really believe they didn’t do it justice at all, because the art in the manga is consistently very good.

My hero academia is a really good one. One of my favorites actually… the fandom ruined it its so toxic but the anime itself is incredible.
Imo the show in recent seasons has been kinda mid, but overall it’s not bad

My Hero is a solid show, it gets a lot of hate, but it also has a pretty massive fandom with one side (the weird one) being much louder than the other. One thing My Hero has never failed on despite its ups and downs is the music though, I think everyone can agree. Especially music placement, that is vital to the weight of certain scenes. It's also one of the only Manga I put the OST over as I am reading, so that says a lot IMO.
Usually the hate is cuz of the watersports and the fandom itself
You Say Run goes so extremely hard but hearing it actually play during the show during hype moments is a whole other level of good shit
This is definately one of the longer anime I think you would enjoy. Its an underdog story, and this music is so important to certain scenes. Ive never even cried at someone finishing a training arch before...but him overcoming his struggles actually makes it worth it and when he cries of happiness it feels so earned. If you love those underdog stories this is such an inspirational one. Even if its just the first season, its still good.
I honestly would be happier with him reacting to the first two seasons and stopping with how it falls off after that.

@@madeinsound08 Season 3 was much worse than season 1 and 2, because our main character didn't progress much as a character in general, only physically getting stronger. And many characters get thrown to the side with exceptions being Bakugo, Todoroki, Froppy (forgot her real name). Season 6 will be great, i read the manga, it'll be amazing; but season 7 will throw away alot that Season 6 had built up, and honestly make some really questionable decisions on Horikoshis part. Spoiler part of my comment v v v v
Deku got won over from his whole needing to do everything alone thing with the power of friendship, he went backwards, and ended up as a character that is still the same crybaby goody two shoes that we had at the beginning of the series, with a little more confidence and a lot more strength. Bakugo's whole fake out death thing was really dumb, and Deku as a first year standing a chance against Shigaraki is dumb aswell. Star and Stripe also could've been an amazing character, but she was killed- what, 2, 3 chapters after she was introduced just for the sake of doing so? I could go on and on.

The hate for this anime/manga is so forced, it's kind of sad. The art style of it is my most favorite one and the story is paced very well! Complaints of a fandom shouldn't be the reason to miss out on this nice anime! (And honestly from what I've seen, every fandom has the same problem. People genuinely just look for the trouble 💀). Hope you enjoy, whether it's in your own time or here! 💛

The problem with my hero is more abaout the fandom, in other aspects Horikoshi writting is really inconsistent, he can give you a fucking top tier arc, and in the next he give us a trash arc. But I still enjoy the manga, he is with no doubts one of the best artists in Shonen Jump, his artstyle is nuts.
@@reachthezora1912 i understand people's complaints about certain arcs but they were all necessary to get to the current point of the story haha. Hope one day people can look back at any arc and say "oh wow now i see why that's important." And about the fandom bit, no one has to interact with them if they don't want to! And so far in the comments I've seen really nice people, which I'm guessing are part of the fandom or casual watcher!
its not forced its just the anime has no stakes and most chars a pretty boring, like most of class 2 is better than class 1 and u have ppl like mineta in 1a but ppl like the guy who trains with aizawa in class b
@@hopufuru3617 I'm a bit curious of what kind of stakes you are looking for that hasn't been shown but I don't want to spoil anything if you haven't read ahead! OH the story even now is still continuing to dive into character details, so I hope you can find that interesting when the time comes! Also Shinsou (the kid that trains with Aizawa) still hasn't chosen a class so I'm not sure where you heard he was in B lol. I don't really know how to respond to the comparing of A and B class since it isn't important because they are all working together this season.
So to explain a little bit about the tone shift between the light hearted “Hero Too” and the rest of the show (no spoilers don’t worry) the creator of the manga had just prior wrapped up an arc that was rather dark and intense, to where Horikoshi felt the need to take a small break and work on a shorter arc that was a bit more upbeat. Overall I would definitely recommend reacting to this, it’s a really good time; a wide range of emotions and tones ranging from light hearted to very serious. I echo what others are saying about the fan base. Don’t let that get in your way of enjoying it for what it is. They’re currently on Season 6 right now and the quality has been absolutely stellar.

Oh i love this anime. I started watching it upon my friend's recommendation... I finished 3 seasons in 2 days. In my opinion, it has a unique world design and very good written characters, character arcs and stories. Another thing that I like about this anime is that they share the stories of the side characters, too. The emotional ride I had gone through is unimaginable. The show got better and better, and the tears I shed multiplied. I think you should give it a chance. Also you are right, the OSTs are amazing.

Legit a banger anime, worth the watch. Everyone will yell you to stay away from the fandom because its cringe and some people have even stopped watching the show altogether because of it
I find the concept of not watching a show because of the fandom to be stupid. Personally, I don't think the MHA fandom is any worse than any other large fandom. Sure, it has some toxic people, but most fans are chill. Besides, it's not like people have to interact with the fandom in order to enjoy the show. Even if the fandom was that bad, you could just watch the show and not interact with the fans. There is no reason to stop watching the show.
All this music is from the actual show and it's epic as hell. Didn't even know people didn't like this anime. First season came out back in 2016 and is one of the shows (another being One Punch Man) that helped anime become as mainstream as it is today.
My hero academia is an amazing and inspiring shonen about superheroes. And the soundtrack is absolutely amazing. You’re tripping if you are missing out on this one!!!

This anime is one of my all time favorites and I'm a grown ass man. The only reason people hate this anime is because the fandom became too obsessive and annoying with the show. It's so badass and you will get attached to the characters. If you react to this anime it will 100% get views. It's a classic.

i understand what you mean, seraph of the end/owari no seraph was the first anime i really got into and it's what led me to check out other animes, like my hero academia! (the ons fandom is honestly worse than the bnha one, though, and now i have such a love/hate relationship with the series-)
I'm not quite sure why people are telling you not to watch it.. I very much enjoy MHA.
Currently we are on season 6 (still airing), and imo it's now getting to the darker and gritty part of the story.
But that doesnt mean the previous seasons arent good at all! I think you'd enjoy it actually :)

I love MHA because of its themes and how the mangaka is approching a hero themed story while paying homage to marvel and dc. The villains and protagonists are well developped.
It has over 100 episodes, I recommend you to watch it when you complete FMA or Vinland Saga so you don't overwork yourself.
Unfortunately, this anime has a toxic fanbase and lots of haters, and they will automaticaly hate you for reacting to it, but it shouldn't be a problem for you XD
Don't listen to people telling you not to react to the show !! The fandom is the worst part of it but the show itself will make you feel so many things. The music is incredible and same goes for the fight scenes ! The artstyle only keeps getting better and the music makes you feel like an actual hero. So would totally recommend. It may not be the best show of all time, but it sure is a memorable one.
But not everyone in fandom though. Its like any other anime tbh there are toxic ones but most of actually alright and appreciate anime and hate the toxic ones

Certainly one of my favorite anime's. I teared up for several reasons after hearing that first one, and half of it is because of the actual song. This show hits so hard in the feels my man.

My Hero Academia was the first shounen anime I watched. My anime journey essentially started with this show. I was still an avid Marvel fan when I started MHA, so when I saw the show was about superheroes I basically thought "Hey, I like superhero movies, why don't I try this?"
That was like 4 or 5 years ago. So My Hero Academia holds a special place in my heart and memory.
Would love to see you react to the League of Villains theme from MHA. I believe it's called "All Out Attack".

Any Haikyuu ost would be right up your alley. Battle of Concepts or Direct Confrontation would be the ones I'd recommend. The composer for MHA also does Haikyuu actually so it's similar.
this hits different as the crescendo of Kyoka's dilemma character arc, it's lyrics are very much attached to Kyoka's character at this time
I highly recommend the special version of "Might U" and "You Say Run" mash-up that was done during the lock down for charity. It has dozens of singers and performers all working together, including voice actors from the show.

If you're interested, Yuki Hayashi, the composer for the MHA OSTs also composed the soundtrack for Haikyuu! Don't know if you've heard of it, but the soundtrack in that is also amazing. I'd recommend any piece of that soundtrack, but for starters you could try Haikyuu - Above
I think you have perfectly described how this OST is supposed to make you feel and when you react to the anime, the scenes accompanied by it will make sense and it will elevate those scenes so much. Season 1 episode 12 and season 2 episode 10 are peak

My Hero Academia has had a chokehold on my life for the last 2+ years.
There's a reason why it's such a beloved series, worldwide. It has a huge, diverse cast, engaging world and some really complexly written characters that make you latch onto the side characters just as much or even more than the main characters.
The story has a way of being light-hearted, fun and wholesome while also tackling really complex and dark topics at the same time. Each character gets their moments to shine and the story isn't solely focused on following the progression of the main character.
It holds a special place in my heart.

My hero was one of my first animes, a lot of people complain about its fandom but as someone who doesn’t get into that stuff- the anime is literally incredible.
That first song does need to be put in more context. It comes at the conclusion of one of the best arcs in the story. As good as the song is, it has the biggest impact on a specific character, and that scene will probably make you cry tears of joy
this OST embodies the theme of heroes perfectly. so much hope and power behind it.

I 100% recommended watching MHA sometime cus I’d LOVE to see your reactions. It was one of my first anime’s and it’s definitely one of my faves. Season 6 is ongoing rn and eps are still being released and I’m sure many will agree, but season 6 is definitely gonna be the best season of MHA bc of the amount of hype in every episode which I 100% think you’ll enjoy. Every season is hype in its own way w some fillers between intense story arcs which many ppl don’t like but personally it’s quite refreshing. I’ll look forward to ur reaction to this series if u do end up reacting sometime. This whole series is something you don’t wanna miss out on for sure! ☺️

I love MHA and tbh I would enjoy you reacting to it. Mostly because whenever you react to a show your inputs about music are SO interesting, I almost never think about the music in a scene outside of 'it suits the scene cool' so hearing you geek put about the drums and base and pointing it out to us, slowing or repeating the section to make us hear it, makes me appreciate the artists behind it even more! A lot of ppl probs tell you not to watch Mha because the Fandom is absolutely toxic. But, I'd definitely say the show is rlly good. Oh, and all the songs you've reacted to are just songs in the show, although they do play in the movies as well.
I highly recommend you watching this anime after you finish the current ones, the story telling, the characters, the music, everything about MHA is great, except the fandom they're very toxic, but don't overwork yourself :)

For me MHA is one of the best anime I've ever seen, the art of Horikoshi and how the story leads into a side that it's unexpected got me thrilled. You can really appreciate the growth of the characters and how the small details makes sense in the future situations. I hope you watch the anime and enjoy it.

I'll be honest here Nick, MHA is one of my favorites not because I consider it a masterpiece or "different from other shonens" but because I started watching it when I was still 15 and a depressed teenager that only read obscure manga and this anime as cheesy as it was brought the little positivity in my life I needed at the time, and as absurd as it sounds it kinda helped me in some ways to not give up and keep going, so yeah it holds a special place in my heart even though I'm aware of the flaws the story has as it progresses and I wish the author had explored a bit more into our main character being rejected by society and how it has affected him (I'm making it sound as vague as possible to not spoil anyone so my point might not be understood).
The story still falls into tropes that have been overused and can become annoying over time, but the story is still entertaining and not to mention the animation, so yeah you can give it a try but keep in mind a shonen is still meant to be watched by teenagers or pre teens, and even though someone more jaded can get to enjoy it, it can also become too cheesy if you don't balance it with something else.

I cannot recommend “Voices of the Chord” from 86 enough. It’s composed by Hiroyuki Sawano, the same guy who did Attack on Titan, and it is SO BEAUTIFUL. I think you’d really appreciate that one.

mha is a really good story for me, i'm very attached to it ngl. the fandom doesn't make the anime (even tho personally despite being involved with the fandom i haven't had a single problem, weird people can be found in every fandom) so i'd be rly happy if u reacted to it one day tbh :')
You should react to the Might U charity performance. It’s a collaboration with many artists and even the actual music composer of My Hero Academia. It’s beautiful.
As you’ve noticed, character design is top tier in MHA. Some of the most unique and recognizable characters around.
Hero too is such an excellent song. it hits harder with the context of who Eri is, but it also showcases the extremely sudden tone shift the latter part of season 4 was. Honestly though, the characters deserved this happy break after what they went through earlier.

It’s so amazing to see the first reactions to some of My Hero’s best songs and music. It feels like I’ve been taken back to last year when I first started watching MHA. I get a giddy feeling.

Honestly Nick if you genuinely want to try watching My Hero because it interests you, do it! You might like it if you like the osts and the character designs (cause let’s be honest, the character designs alone make you want to check out bnha to know just what the hell is going on)

i kinda miss my MHA phase from 2020, i didn't watch that many animes but MHA brought me back to watching, even if the fandom is very toxic... the anime is very entertaining, i highly recommend you start reacting to it
The anime is very entertaining but im unable to finish 5th season because it's too boring

If you are going to react (or watch) my hero academia, I highly recommend to watch the first 2 episodes together, is like "part 1, part 2" and it give more feels (it's not like you are going to cry, but see them together can make it go from "ok" to "oh... That's good")
my hero academia manga is peak. the anime is so underrated and the lore is good.

There is nothing special about this anime, the most hyped-up scene where Almight uses his one for all wasn't even close to as cool or epic as everyone was making it out to be.
@@chumbue6537 honestly you have to take into account that 70% of the fans of this started with it and prob didn't go much further back the all might scene was sick and it had other great scenes but honestly kinda falls off in season 4 then 5 killed it for me might read vigilantes at some point apparently the main character actually just sticks with having his basic quirk and working hard to use it better

Not sure if it’s been mentioned yet, but the vocalist for “Hero Too” (the first song) is Chrissy Costanza from Against the Current.
It’s a fantastic anime I watched it when it first came out but took a break due to the fan base and started watching it again last year so as long as you ignore the fan base the show is absolutely amazing
No one takes breaks from shows cause of a fanbase what lol
I think mha is for sure a must watch, it's definitely not the best anime in the world but it's an iconic one and was cool moments
And we're currently on the peak of MHA for the anime

agreed. It is in no way shape or form the best, but is does have a solid warm spot in my heart even tho the manga reaaally strays sometimes to weird territories.

MHA is an amazing anime, but it's not everyones cup of tea and that's understandable. None the less though I must at some point see Nicholas react to this. Just imagine the nicknames he'd come up for in this show. It would be god tier content

I really like My Hero! It can be a little slow at the start imo, but it’s still really good. Id honestly love it if you reacted to it.
The start being slow wasn't that bad building up everything but it seems like most seasons afterwords it has a moment where it hits a brick wall

Man, bleach's osts are godlike. Clavar la espada, invasion, fiesta de guerra, la distancia para un duelo, number one. Any bleach ost you randomly pick will blow your mind, i can tell
bleach osts are the beast ever I don't care about anyone how Says it's not
"Number One" and "Stand Up Be Strong" in Bleach were the very first songs that popped into my head when Nick asked what else he should react to! Those songs get me hyped and incredibly pumped and it'll definitely be songs that Nick puts on his phone!
