I'm pretty sure just because a group was there 2000 years ago it doesn't give them the right to come back. That would be like an Italian showing up in London demanding homes.
Wars are lost. The people who now call themselves Palestinians lost the land in a war that took place after the UN allowed Jewish refugees in. The Jews could have taken all the land but they have continually worked toward some kind of solution. They offered two-states multiple times and the only response has been rockets and bombings of cafes, buses, etc.
By the way, settlers took the land we now call Texas from Mexico. You don't see Mexico killing our Olympic team, sending rockets over every week, kidnapping children, doing horrific things to Texas girls and women, etc.
