  • "And we have not sent you [O Muhammad] except as a mercy to all populated worlds." Surah 21 Verse 107
We cannot ignore Him (SAW) embodying mercy, instantiating mercy in a universe where time and space function differently. In an expanding universe Muhammad (SAW) is still an instrument of mercy.
The Prophet (SAW) as a mercy to all the worlds, even in his lifetime, functioned in a transcendent manner. That is what being a mercy in all the worlds means.
That mercy is transcendent on a horizontal plane between Al-Nas as well as a multi-level vertical plane with malaikah and jinn, grave /barzakh and akhira.
During this blessed month of Ramadan I am pleased to announce my next release with 7 Steps Cultural Group. In September 2023 (during the very first production of "Laylatun Nabi SAW") we collaborated and performed the nasheed "Rahmatul Lil Aalameen by Maher Zain" as a tribute to our beloved Rasoollulah SAW. The response had indeed inspired us to record this cover in Studio. Please give our video some love by liking, sharing and commenting InshaaAllah.

Non muslim here, Isn't music haram for muslims??
Then why do you guys keep making music on religion? Never saw or heard a islamic religious song like the Christians have
    Anyways, nice vocals and song

String instrument is haram not all types of music. But also a woman’s voice shouldn’t be sung in public. So yes very ironic- and following the Christian and Pagan errors by some.

Hi, no it is not haram. That is an extremist view and not in the Quran (our Bible). This view is supported by many scholars like Imam Al Ghazali and Yusuf Al Qaradawi. Music is judged by certain criteria
      1. If it brings you to God it is permissible
      2. If it takes you away from God(for example you have lustful desires as a result) it is forbidden
      3. If it doesnt take you away nor bring you towards God then it doesn't harm you nor benefit you
There are many different sects in Islam that believe different things.
Ask the person that said its haram to bring evidence from the Quran and you will see the fall short very quickly. Even the comment about string instruments. Where in the Quran does it say this?
The person will usually respond and say our Prophet SAW did not listen to a string instrument, but he also never drove a car yet they do. So the point is, we should all respect one anothers opinions and continue learning about different peoples understanding to broaden our views rather than choosing to argue with one another over matters that are insignificant and only causes harm in doing so.

Just to add, if you noticed the way i wrote the criteria it was based on the individuals experience. In other words something that is forbidden for one person because of how they experience it, doesnt mean it is forbidden for everyone if they have a different experience.

      @@muahzimbapoo7740Thanks for the heads up!
I see many people dream of uniting the islamic ummah into a caliphate.
If there are different interpretations of the Quran and Hadiths. Would music be banned in the caliphate like it is in Afghanistan or it would be like Saudi Arabia and the UAE??

@Blahblahblah_420 i dont feel its really appropriate to guess about politics on this forum. If you would like to discuss these matters to learn and ask questions I can put you in touch with groups dedicated to discuss these affairs. There will never be a single answer to these types of questions. Unity in Islam is about tolerance and respect for one another. Not about one forcing their opinion on the other.
There is only one Quran and its clear and concise. Hadiths were written long after the Prophet SAW passed away and should be questioned and interrogated to determine its authenticity.
Hadith that contradicts the Quran cannot be true. Quran is the first source of truth, if Hadith is in line with the Quran, it can be used to understand principles, hadith that contradict the Quran are rejected (my personal opinion).
