The replacement rate has fallen below 1. Every 10 on, China population will drop by 200 Millions. GDP growths will become negative. Has to depend on India to drive Asia economy growths in the next 20 years.
India has always been neutral, and this is the specialty of India, India will go far in the future.

Last time we did that they back stabbed us. Looking back at that time and generally how China does things, I don't think even they would understand India not trusting them. Even they themselves admit that constant friendship between nations is impossible It was India and Russia that helped China get the UNSC seat, remember the old "Indi cheeni Bhai Bhai ". And then 1962 war happened. Looking at it as a whole China always has total plans set up for every one of its neighbours. The moves of 'friendship' they do now are the openings to a grand plan. Military boats cosplaying as Fishing boats are all pawns in this game. As Indians well never ever ever trust the Chinese. Trade is literally because we have no other choice. Cuz the west put all their eggs in one basket and made China what it is today.
But as strategically clever as this is, diplomatically you can't make a more stupid move.
