Skill wise, like in terms of being able to handle, shoot, finish and even pass.. to me he seems to be elite enough to play professionally.. I don’t see what he’s missing to explain why he isn’t at least playing professionally overseas or receiving the opportunity to do so.. I can’t see his decision making/ability to make the right play being that much different in live game situations against high level competition.. being that I like his play style I could possibly be a bit biased but honestly I don’t see it.. bottom line he’s good enough to play against anyone.. and I can’t be the only one who feels this way..

a lot of good players out there- some just don't go up thru the system where they get the exposure- and cv- that propels them to better leagues. just like in work- a graduate from a crappy college might be just as bright as the harvard grad- but the top law firms always go for the harvard grad. i guess provenance matters- you can still get there though- just need a lot of hard work and much more hard work- cos the chances are gonna be slimmer and slimmer. like in the league- and in life.
It may just be mentality. I've seen amazing players dominate, but at the next level there minds are holding them back from performing at their best
