Trump had no press briefings for 300 days straight. Did you forget?
1. Trump stopped having press briefings AT ALL, 2. The NYT didn’t do basic fact check: the neurologist runs neurology clinics for military personnel at the White House, and Biden wasn’t even present for any of his visits except for presidential physicals, which were released to the public. If the Times had checked, visitor logs, they would have known that. But they had the narrative they wanted. Disgraceful.

Ed OKeefe should read the laws in this country. I worked in surgery for 21 years. READ THIS ALL YOU UNEDUCATED JOURNALISTS: The Privacy Rule, a Federal law, gives you rights over your health information and sets rules and limits on who can look at and receive your health information. The Privacy Rule applies to all forms of individuals' protected health information, whether electronic, written, or oral. My family is also military and there are individuals that have 100% security in this country. It starts with the President of the USA.
While you may be right, you still need to understand that there is a higher expectation of transparency for a public figure and especially being the president. This press secretary keeps attempting to cover up his health when we the people already woke up to the truth.
To confirm a doctors name never has been a HIPAA violation as far as I know. He was not asking for Bidens specific diagnosis and simply asked why a particular doctor, who happens to specialize in Parkinsons Disease, was seeing Biden. KJP just tried her best to spin it into a security issue and failed.

normally a physician does not perform a physical and then call in a neurologist for examination FOR NO REASON. Signs and symptoms of neurologic disease would promt further investigation. Standard practice.....................they can't cover it up any longer.

A previous doctor to Trump AND Obama said in an interview after this there is no law prohibiting her from giving names. You'd think he would know since he was a doctor to the then active Presidents. Unless you have been a doctor to a President of the United States it's probably best to not have an opinion. Do your homework and find out from those who have actually done the job what the laws are and aren't. He also said her excuse for not giving the names is ridiculous and there was nothing stopping her from doing so. Also, those picking on just Ed, are you also going to say all the other reporters who backed Ed up during the banter and spoke out at the same time that it's public knowledge are wrong too? Also, bit of a coincidence that the doctor who is a close friend to the Bidens and is a big stakeholder in a lot of the Biden's business dealings just happens to write a letter the next day stating what Karine said. Not suspicious at all...🙄.

ABC News reported this, “Sanders has not briefed once yet in 2019, and has broken the previous Trump White House record for no press briefings set between Oct. 29 and Nov. 27 last year, a 29-day period during the fall where the 'disappearing' press briefing seemed to enter the 'endangered species' territory.” October 29 through November 29 is 30 days, not 300. A few other sources I’ve never heard of did run with the 300 number. They included talk of what an official briefing is defined as. I vividly recall Trump often standing at the podium taking questions from the press. I don’t recall ever seeing Biden standing at the podium taking questions. Biden always seem to be walking back from a staged photo op where he’s sitting with some dignitary from a foreign country and the media are all shouting questions at him. Occasionally but rarely, he stops and mumbles some indecipherable answer and then gets hustled off by some aid shouting at the media to clear the room. Do you seriously want to engage in a discussion about who takes questions from the media and who doesn’t?
