i really don't understand elvis fans who put down other artist
elvis truly believed and often said there was room in the business for everyone
and he never had a bad word to say about anyone
he never kicked or bad mouth anybody during his time here

I have been a hardcore Elvis fan for decades, and I have never compared him with any other artist. For me, he is simply the best. However, many people argue about who was better between Elvis and Michael Jackson. To me, it seems like two married people arguing over whose partner is the best, which is absolutely ridiculous.

There was a lot of pomade needed to style that hair. 🤣🤣 I saw him Twice in concert in the 70s. I was 15 then and am 65 now. 50 years and I still remember the concerts. He had so much magnetism on stage. He was, also, funny. Amazing connection to the audience.

Elvis said himself in a press conference that he could never put down another entertainer and there was room for everyone. Truly humble and incredibly talented. The micing and technical hosting would still have been pretty primitive to what we have today or even what came 10 years later - not an auto tuner in sight TG.

He was nothing like anyone had every heard b4 because he had such a unique versicle voice, also because he hit with such power and force. Like his voice pinned you against the wall, and with his charisma that was very tangible. We can’t compare artist with Elvis he was in a class of his own, that busted down walls and broke through social barriers.

There was just an overhead microphone or microphones for those performances. Elvis produced all of his recordings and performances throughout his career.

Hi Jacob! I am a life long Elvis fan and I like seeing people react to Elvis who are themselves accomplished musicians. You are able to notice and point out things that help me understand why Elvis was so captivating and good. I too have always loved him for his appreciation of other talented artists-he was supportive throughout his whole career of his band mates and other artists. Thank you for your reaction.

In the real world...everybody doesn't get a trophy and everyone who tries is not the greatest in their own special way😮....It's not a bash or throwing shade or a put down to anyone trying to achieve the height of artistry in the arts and entertainment field ...To recognize the fact that in a world where looks, talent, confidence, charisma and the undefinable X FACTOR are the standards by which the world judges....to say who's the greatest entertainer that has ever been .... ELVIS was the greatest example of a entertainer that has every been recorded to date 2024 .... thanks for reacting to Elvis nice content 👏👏

Interesting story about this performance of Sept. 9, 1956. On September 9, 1956, neither Elvis nor Ed Sullivan were in the studios that day for the broadcast. A month before Elvis' appearance on his show, Sullivan suffered from an almost fatal automobile crash that left him hospitalized for weeks and was unable to recover from his injuries quick enough. British actor Charles Laughton filled in for Sullivan and served as host for Presley’s debut performance. Elvis himself was not in New York City where the Sullivan show was broadcast from but was actually at Television City in Hollywood where he was in the middle of filming "Love Me Tender. And it was Laughton who introduced Elvis that night.
I grew up watching these performances on b&w TV & listening to his records & albums, which I still have & those vinyls sound as good today as they did back then. I do recall seeing this. (Thx - new sub.)

Great reaction to Elvis please keep them coming!! A couple things you were so excited to see him and his band being together * Check out 1970 live in Las Vegas ( suspicious minds 6:22 ), Same show 1970 live ( Polk Salad Annie 4:51 ) this will really show you how Elvis and his drummer would battle each other to see who could hit the beat longer and harder and will show you all his charisma he had on stage, Thank you for keeping Elvis alive!!! 🔥🎸🎶🎤🔥

Ready Teddy was a hit song for Little Richard, who was the original artist- recording it about 4 months earlier than this performance by Elvis.
Elvis does the song in his Rockabilly style

Check out Elvis singing 'Love Me' from 1957 Ed Sullivan show, and 'What now my Love ' from 1973 concert in Hawaii. Also ,as a great cover Elvis sang 'Bridge over Trouble Waters', another one to react too. I like your Elvis reactions, keep up the good work.

One boom mike. It was Primative. . The standup mike for Elvis. Please do his most icon 68 comeback special. Especially it opening segment "Elvis Presley Trouble/Guitar Man " showcasing his guitar and the production number. Also if you want to see how he as executive producer of all his music was in rehearsal see his humor and arranging. "Elvis Presley in the Studio". 1970. Or. See " Elvis Presley and the Sweet Inspirations/words". But to get the struggles Elvis went through in the racist 50's see "Elvis Presley and the Black Community". Excuse how Elvis fans always jump to Elvis' defense, he has been so maligned over the years, I am 80 and a fan since '56, and I have had to defend Elvis all his career. The rumors and lies are crazy. I appreciate your reactions, thanks and be blessed

The mics are hanging from above, you see Elvis look up to make sure he’s under it. He would always move out of the way for the band and he introduced his band during every concert. As for hair products, he used pomade and natural oils

REACTION REQUEST: This is a film clip from Jailhouse Rock, Elvis’ 3rd movie filmed in 1957. Elvis always appeared super confident, even as early as 1956, his break out year. In the clip (You’re So Square) Baby I Don’t Care Elvis starts to really to show a sophistication that carries through the rest of his career. BTW, the movie Jailhouse Rock was filmed in black & white, maybe to save on costs because Hollywood still regarded him as a flash in the pan even 18 months into his stratospheric career. czcams.com/video/aqDmLqPUhO4/video.html. I really enjoy your reactions, which come across very, very genuine. Thank you.
