The genuine joy and happiness when Matt found out it was his, and when he slapped his hands together in excitement was the best thing ever. It's about to go down in "Samurai Town" there's a new shirt idea!
11:46 had me smiling, the look on her face and the way she said "Sure" as she knows he won't be ready for a nap after he see's new toy. This was awesome, Matt was like a little kid in a candy store zipping around in the new scooter.

Money and fame can do alot of things to people, especially couples and its so nice to see that your relationship with your wife looks stronger than ever. This is just such a wholesome channel. Thanks Matt and team.
As a long time Samurai rock crawler owner I will give you a tech tip. Place a fuel regulator inline close to the carb, it helps keep the mechanical fuel pump from pushing too much fuel when you floor it going up a hill and reduces the flooding from overflow.
Or just throw in the 1.6 16v tracker motor that doubles the horsepower to 120 from the original 60

Matt's wife can drive a manual, excellent! A great life skill. My wife impressed me when she could drive my old 5 speed VW when we were dating. My kids will learn on one as well.
It’s really a great method to make a better, more engaged driver.
My wife had to learn how to drive a manual in one evening. Her car broke down and all our other vehicles were Stick at the time.

All genuinely good ppl, funny, and the ability for alot of learning on new things and riggings/mechanics. Matt if you need any info or parts for the Samurai, I’ve got you covered. I got my first one at age 10 and have had over 30 since. Low Range Off-road is the go to place for aftermarket parts! Toyota axles, and a YJ spring conversation are the two most commons mods. Also can add in power steering pretty easily, and would definitely recommend doing T-Case gears.

I'm just jealous over the Samurai, I've wanted one since they first arrived, and our own kids were young enough we couldn't afford one. I miss Southern Utah. I am a landscape photographer and that was my zone for 10+ years. You make me want to move back after moving up North to SLC. I don't miss the 105+ degree heat for 6 months out of the year, but man.... the landscape and feel of Southern Utah can't be beat. Thanks for the videos, I never knew about this channel and it's making me relive a lot of things. You guys are amazing!
You're really not missing much, as we are quickly achieving 'urbanization'. It used to be quiet and open out here and now the area is becoming flooded with multi-story apartments and homes that no one but the upper middle-class to outrageously rich can afford.
@@dawabbitt3079 Yeah for sure. The only real thing I miss is being able to get lost in the outdoors without having to drive 1-2 hours to escape people. I know there are a lot of people in Washington county now, though, so maybe I'm looking back at it through rose-colored glasses.

It is without a doubt *still* magnificent out here as far as the *outer landscape* but the inner cities are now inundated with too much traffic, too much roadwork and simply too many people - and it never stops. Samurai's are awesome little things. I had a few of them year's ago. Made it through the Rubicon trail with a 3" lift, 4 to 1 transfer case, rear locker on 29" mud terrains. Enjoy. 👍

great addition to the fleet....we had two of the long box versions and ran them from Canada's Western Arctic to the forests and mountains of British Columbia. Not much for heat in the winter, but my goodness, they could almost climb trees. Enjoy that little Suzie.

I miss my Samurai badly. I've taco-ed the front end, had 7 people in it, ran over myself twice with it, removed and repaired the t-case on the side of the road, and so many more great memories in it. Hope you have yours for many memories to come. They are the greatest play toys ever!

There is a plunger thing on the back of the carb that gets out of adjustment. Took me forever to figure it out. Suzuki John showed me the light.

I had one for 3 years and sold it to a couple in Texas who loved Suzuki’s . They flew over and drove it the 1000 miles home. They love that 88-1/2 Samurai!
