I got a new two tone gmt about 4 weeks ago. I only got offered it because the first person allocated it said no. I love it and the resale value doesn’t matter to me.

I think the grey half ceramic bezel matching the stainless color is ahead of the curve. It’s so new that people haven’t caught on. It’s cool to have a 2 tone that’s different vibe from common stainless or all gold in a collection.

Great video as always! there is literally no shortage of rolexes. EVERY grey market dealer is stacked up to their nose in rolex watches, it seems to be the only watch they stock, everyone has loads of rolex watches. as the global economy slows, and people stop buying the grey market dealers will be forced sellers. I think we get much lower prices in the grey market in the mwst 12-24months for those people who have some patience.

Seeing these watches in a more normal setting the gray and black 2 tone is badass! I’m very much a stainless or titanium watch guy but damn that’d be me in a heartbeat!
Take a YG with the Jubilee or go for the WG Meteorite Pepsi. At the same price point the YG will burn and doesn’t have a chance

@Adam-nk3vb Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and it's interesting how the flock usually follows the crowd with actually taking the time to explore things.
From the eye test, The Rootbeer lacks Luster and is not distinguishable, and The Meteorite has a cool factor because of the piece of Meteorite, but other than that, they are both average looking to me.
The new GMT looks great on the wrist. It was quite the opposite for me in terms of appreciation for the new GMTs. At 1st, I didn't like it until I saw them and tried them on...the look fantastic on the wrist. When i get the call from my AD there is no hesitation to go get watches.
Don't get me wrong, everyone has different tastes, and your statement is well respected!!

To speak on the Meteorite, I have to say that I haven't actually seen one live, so I will take your word for it. You actually peek my interest even more to see the Meteorite live so I can appreciate the craftsmanship. You may have just made me a Meteorite fan if it's as special as I hear.
I had to laugh at the wait 4 years statement. It's a bit ridiculous, but I feel they planned that, too. All the AD are saying it will take 2 years for a Submariner and 5 years for any popular GMT Master II, but I saw them say longer to someone who never owned a Rolex before. I could be wrong, but I think the ADs run our names to see if we have any warranties registered under our name and then move you up the line. I bought several DateJust, and prior to me even buying a Rolex, they told me it would be 5 years to get a Batman...well, after buying several DateJust, I got my Batman in 10 months. I asked for a Submariner too, but my AD said if I could have one, which one would it be...hence the Batman arrived and still waiting on a Submariner 1.5 years later.
I’ve watched this video many times - I had a new no date and liked it - I wound up upgrading to this with the oyster and I didn’t realize I would love it as much as I do and more than the sun no date .. I love the jubilee bracelet but this watch is busy enough - thanks for videos

Congrats on the Tesla. My next car will be an EV. I like the new GMTs but am not surprised at this video: global supply and demand is adjusting. It was not that long ago when one could buy Rolex on the secondary market for less than RRP. The pandemic turned things around temporarily and grey prices went insane. I buy my Rolexes from my AD. Cheers!
Its not just these GMTs that are not shifting. In Hong Kong and in soke parts of switzerland, most models are widely available at your local AD. That will playing a massive impact on the secondary market for these watches in the future when they start flooding in markets at are still behind.
I am a bit of a petrol head, but i have toyed with electric cars. Purchased a Teala model X, couldnt get my head around the basic interior for the money and also cant beat having and hearing the power of v6 or v8 under rhe bonnet. Ao sold the tesla in 6 months of ownership.

I am a child of the 80s and it reminds me of those days. To me it represents strength with the steel and class with the gold. In my career a full gold watch is not practical but two tone works. Also, i see the debates about watch size. I spent many years in the military where we all wore big ass watches. I love a big ass, heavy, watch on my wrist. Thank you so much for the content. Rolex is building out two billion factors that are coming online within the next 5 years so alot more Rolex supply will be hitting the market and price will keep coming down!
They are surely expanding, Rolex is launching a new $1.1 billion factory nearby Bulle with 2029 for production commencement.

why on earth should the price of a discontinued daytona go up if it is replaced by the same, but signficantly improved model?
Rolex 1-0-1. The price of their most iconic Watch (Daytona) goes up despite being replaced due to several reasons. scarcity & exclusivity of discontinued model, as it becomes rarer over time. In some cases as seen with older models, collectors and enthusiasts put up premiums on older version due to it being the original hence historically significance.This had always been the case with Rolex

The grey on the bezel isn't as pronounced as I wanted it to be to be honest. Head on it looks like the ref 116718LN apart for the fact that it has a jubilee instead of an oyster band

I like gold watches, but you're a shinny target walking down the streel, or leaving a nice restaurant after a waiter makes a tip off. Sad but true.. LA, London, Barcelona, Paris, etc (UAE is OK). I want an EV as my 2nd car, but not practical for towing my toys long distance. I would not get a Tesla the service is horrible per my friends that have one.

TSLA,, Yuks!! that's not a car,, the worst quality you can get and over priced,, but thats my opinion. if you want to see what is a TRUE car marketing strategy, check Porsche, Ferrari or Lambo :) EV do harm the environment more than ICE cars, check how they mine for Lithium and you would be shocked,, thats enough my rant is over :D
Teslas are absolute crap period. Poor build quality, gimmicky image and appalling after care.
