Sorry for the hurt you’ve experienced. We’ll be praying 🙏 for you. God has made his grace available to you to forgive. Let go and let God heal your heart. Also we pray that God will give you the wisdom as to what your next step should be, maybe speaking to a spiritual leader or a professional.
I feel you dear, put it like this; the grudges we keep on our hearts hold us back from going forward whichever way (mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc). So, forgiving is more like a Commandment just so as "Love one another" which is the Root Cause of all commandments and Ordinances and Laws on all planes of existence and all dimensions and planets
The two are intertwined and inseparable
Summon the courage and strength to forgive him whatsoever he put you through, after all, it's in the past now (no harm intended dear here). Summon all the courage, in fact you can even Pray to God the Almighty to help you with such strength and courage. I did it, so am saying so out of experience despite the fact that then I didn't know how big of a deal forgiving was. It cured me and set me free. Sure it'll do the same to you
Summon the courage, start by uttering it out loud, even if you don't mean it, with time, it'll be from deep down the heart and you might even shed tears then because you'll feel relieved yourself than before.
