Republic can form Italy, but AI republic wont take decision to form Italy, they are programed that way
@Shade250x If you are player you can form it with any Italian state. If you want AI to form Italy then anyone except Milan, Venice, Genoa and Papal state

I think it's easier now, they have a lot of provinces. You just need to have luck and to hope that England will have a bad start
Objective Gaming it’s more luck based than before though. Plus, more provinces means England has more time to gain a foothold, and if you don’t manage to unite Ireland you’re a goner most of the time :p Also, army maintenance cost is a heavy blow for the Irish minors imo ^^ but ye, nice campaign :)

What does playing tall mean? In my understanding it is developing your land and not conquering much. If i got the meaning wrong I'd love to be enlightened

I noticed that you going to revolutionary in lot of your videos, not there of course, but in egypt game, german game, etc. Here's a question - what buffs or things attract you in being a revolutionary empire?
I love that revolutionary CB, it's OP. 10% morale and 50% force limit are also great things.
In Egypt game i wanted to force convert whole Europe to Judaism. That is why i needed Revolutionary CB. Unfortunately you can force convert only primary target (you cant separate peace them and convert). It was to hard to fight everyone again and again so I gave up from that idea ;)
I noticed that you like to play with vassals and other subjects and never realy integrate them, as you mostly take a part of land (this time the british isles) and stay there. But I wonder how you can satelite states(Dont know if thats the english word^^) like Normandy that early? Or am I dumb and Normandy is a released nation which I didnt knew exist? :D
Yeah Normandy is releasable nation. You don't see them often because they are part of France

Question(s): How did you spend your admin points initially? Did you develop provinces to get Renaissance to spawn? How did you have any left over to use them on your first idea group?
At start I used humiliate CB twice to show strength so i could get 200 points from all categories and get jump start.
With admin points I focused ideas, developed capital with diplo + mil, but at the same time tried to stay up to date with military tech. I like to rush ideas fast so i could get additional bonus for tech.
You need to find right balance. Every game is different and you must adapt to other nations around you, it's not big deal if you have tech penalty if everyone around you have same penalty

Did the English, Portuguese and the Pope send close to 70 thousand soldiers in piece meal armies of only 5-6 units? They only needed one victory to crush you and they never massed an army great enough to do that? In my games as Scotland or an Irish OPM, Portugal and England always march their armies next to each other and I can never attack them. The only game in which I did well was when France (my ally) somehow managed to become the naval superpower of Europe and England was filled to the brim with rebels. I had to take South England and give it to them for their war contribution. I wish I could spectate this game.
They had 3-4 transports. They send 3 stack i stackwipe them with my 10stack. Just repeat that for 10 years. England had 16k-17k, tech disadvantage and 50k rebels roaming around. There were few battles with England all with crossing penalty+terrain+age bonus for terrain and when you add difference in tech they didn't stand a chance

im sorry but that ain't playing tall in eu4, Ulm would be prime example, taking over all of British isles as "Ireland" doesn't much count to playing tall.
Plan was to play British nation tall, this is tallest you can get in that scenario, there is no province below 42dev on British isles

Silas o Sovietico loco the AI will sometimes join the league opposing their rivals. Since Austria is typically the catholic league leader Ottos will join the Protestant league
