Horizon RC Fest is a hands-on, fun-focused RC celebration for the entire family. Located in beautiful Monticello, Illinois at Eli Field. The two day event features open flying, RC Car racing, monster trucks, figure 8, rock crawling, mud bog, basher course, RC sumo, a world class RC airshow, RC product demonstrations, giveaways, TRY-ME stations if you've never tried RC before or just want to try your hand at something NEW and so much more!

Having attended this event three years now, we can honestly say this was the best RC event we’ve been to in a Very Long time! It has something for literally everyone which is amazing. Our family had a blast there and we encourage everyone attend this event at least once in their lives! Also, this video was pretty spot on. Had me grinning numerous times throughout! 👍😁😎⚓️
I had so much fun at the HorizonRCFest! All the Horizon staff were so friendly and helpful, can't wait for next year!
HFest 22 was great ! As a first flyer there loved the air show , glad you had some footage of the rc truck pulling also
Ring of fire = job security for eflite! :) I highly recommend making it out for this event if you can next year. It is a great place to meet wonderful people and to explore new aspects of the sport that you may have never seen in person. I participate in the open flying, and the runway is extremely nice! This place is the epitome of a perfect flying site! Thank you horizon for furthering our sport and for putting on this great event!
Yeah Id love to see this on the east coast somewhere. I think I'd be a big hit

We desperately need this in South Texas or Texas in general. At least a crawl fest of some sort the turn out would be grand! Nothing remotely grand ever happens here. Some great spots in Austin! Come on Horizon bring us a crawlfest!

yet no quadcopters...not a one..not surprising to be honest based on the anti drone video they posted a few years back...I used to be a fairly frequent customer..been flying and driving r/c for almost 40 years now....haven't bought a single item from them since...
I had a hobby king b-17 and I was saying to my friend with me as a joke “I hope we don’t get kicked out😂 sure enough I ended up on the video!

This was our first year attending Horizon Hobby Fest. What an incredible event! Great people unreal RC pilots! If you are just getting into the hobby or a seasoned RC operator this is the event to attend! Thank you to Horizon for putting on such a great event! We will be back next year! Great video TJ! 🤙🏼☢️

I would like to book you guys for an event at the Stockton arena is that something that is feasible for you guys
I love the sport but when I ordered my mt10 threw you guys it said 2 weeks then when I tried to check after two weeks it was back ordered for a two month delay so with that said I love everything you guys do just have had trouble with the system please let me know what to do to avoid this in the future as I had to go long time without the rc I ordered 😊

Yes, it was June 10th and 11th. If you check horizonrcfest.com it will update new dates when they are available. We always run big campaigns to try and let as many people know as far ahead of time as possible across social media. So just be sure to follow any of our social channels for next year!

What was said is exactly what was meant 🙂 "We wouldn't be able to put on this awesome show and try to get other people interested in RC if it wasn't for you." And that includes you.
Everyone finds various aspects of RC fun. Some like to build scale models that mimic the real deal so closely that you can't tell the difference other than size. Others like to take a few pieces of foam, slap electronics in it and see if it can fly. Some prefer to buy highly detailed and expensive models that have been meticulously built by the best in the world and have a 'pedigree'. Many like the ease of PNP/BNF/RTF and the ability to get something in the air without much work. Some like to take it easy, where others like to push the limits. That includes trying to fly through a ring of fire or hitting a huge ramp and seeing how far you can launch an RC car.
Our hobby is vast and amazing. You don't have to approve of the ring of fire. It will be available for those that want to have fun with it and put on a show for the crowd.
