Now that I look at it, the thumbnail looks really gross and braggy but I'm too lazy to change it so. just. please don't misinterpret me. I don't ACTUALLY know how I got a five, hah. ha. I just wanted to show you guys what I did on my portfolio, to hopefully help you guys!

I come back years later and you have dozens of song that are number one across the country. It’s really cool to see how far you have come.

I now you don't know me but I remember sitting in my art class my freshman year and seeing your art work be hung up as you were working on it. I saw it develop and I was always catching myself gazing at it. I remember also seeing you come into class to work on it. You are so talented and you helped me get through art 1 with your art work being there showing me some people actually are in that room care about art not just for the credit but that they enjoy it.

ive watched this video so many times in the past few years. the first time i watched it i thought i would never be “as good” but everytime i watch it again it feels more reachable which gives me such a good warm feeling
Oh my god I am literally crying I grew up reading You Are Special a million times! There are tears all over my face seeing you present this concept in such a beautiful way and no words can describe how I’m feeling right now but I just want to say thank you for bringing those happy memories back.
To be honest this made me really sad and disappointed in myself. I'm a good artist but my concentration isn't coming together as it should. I rush my art and just end up not liking any of it. When I'm at home I fee like I do better than in class because I feel less pressure, and I feel like I'm not being overshined by other amazing people in their own right. Idk it's just been really getting me down. I'm in my second semester and I want to start it all over.
I know how you feel man ,in my art class thera are a lot of talanted artists too.The feeling that you are not good enough will come evry time you see someone drawing better than you ,but don't focus on how good other people are ,focus on your art.If this is something that you love you shouldn''t give up on it. Just practice more ,get a sketcbook and draw everywhere ,everything that caugh your attention :people ,trees ,animals ,buildings etc. ,learn from others as they can teach you a lot of stuff and calm down you are there doing what you love on your way of getting better and happiness .Breath deeply and let the pen lead you.

You can do this. With your concentration, if it's something you truly love and can explore, you'll be able to create the most beautiful 12 works of art. I had to re-do my concentration in January when I took this class (I had showed "too much skin" in the art and that wasn't allowed) so I know how it feels to be down on your art and feeling like it'll never come together. But I promise you can do this. Just don't lose sight of yourself as an artist and everything you want to accomplish and convey. You can do this!!! You're an individual with a huge capacity to make beautiful things, so make them. Other people's skill level does not matter and does not change who you are and what you can do. You can do this, I promise.

I'm almost exactly 5 months older than him and yeah I feel like shit too. I can't do realism and I can't do colored pencils, I don't really have many things to draw with, just a set of 12 watercolors, shitty watercolor paper, 5 black fine markers (0.05-0.8), some pencils and a ton of A4 paper. And I am really bad compared to Conan. *cries*

Kinda. But it all goes well Haha. The Main Character meets a girl whose completely unaffected by the stickers... like they legit don’t stick to her unlike everyone else. Girl tells MC that it’s bc she doesn’t care abt how anyone but Eli (the carpenter?? that made them) bc Eli sees her as special and “worth it” regardless of who she is or what she does. Then Mc goes to meet him and then pep talk and then stickers stop sticking to him too

I loved seeing your quality pieces, they were beautiful! I got a 5 on the AP portfolio and it’s so interesting to see how different high scoring portfolios can be
i've always had this passion for art and when I had to decide on a highschool, I got really scared that I wouldn't do well so I didn't apply for Art highschool and instead applied for Architecture and I got in. And now I feel blessed, because the people around me are so nice and intelligent and kind, but I sometimes wonder what it could've been if I had actually followed my heart. I think that I regret my decision.
I just felt the need to share this with anyone who would take time and read it. But anyways, I truly admire Conan, because he is so talented in regards of drawing, painting AND movie making. 💜💜💜
