'Bloody hell that was good!' Lol 😆 yeah... it gets you like that 😁
Most Pentaholics agree that this could be their fourth Grammy (they missed the cut off for this year, but hopefully it will go for next year's awards).
Thanks for doing this one! Bloody brilliant, aye? 😉

Composed by David Foster and Carol Bayer Sager for the 1998 animated movie, “Quest For Camelot” and recorded by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli backed by a full orchestra. It has been covered by many artists and Josh Groban got his big break when he was asked to stand in for Bocelli during award show rehearsals. This is by far my favorite cover. Mitch’s magic. Scott’s soul. Kirstie’s belting soprano. Matt’s underlying bass. And Kevin’s driving percussion make this a cappella version stunning. Absolutely stunning. And we need more baritone Scott..... Italian or not. Thanks for another great reaction. More please!

Exactly! Very well said, Sonja Russell. All of them contribute an enormous part to this song (well, to every song), no matter who is in leading rolle. Could you imagine this song - and all others songs - with no basse or percussion? Kevin and Matt are doing an tremendous job here. But ... as we all know, they are unbeatable as a group. Simply the best!

One of the most well known versions is Celine Dion and Andreas Bocelli. I believe she may have also sung it with Josh Groban.

Scott has a great talent for singing in other languages really well, despite not knowing the language. He also did French when they covered a song called "Papaoutai" from a Belgian group called Stromae. (This song is from an animated movie, but not Disney. It was Warner Bros. I think and was a rather sweet movie.)

  • @Russ_Keith

You will have heard the song before. It's been covered by many, though not like this and if you watched Britain's Got Talent (and I washed my hands after typing that) in 2012, there was a generously proportioned long haired nervous young guy who sang it operatically with a very pretty blonde girl who provided the Mitch part and they blew everybody away with it. They were called Jonathan and Charlotte and they were beaten in the final by a performing dog (of course) called Pudsey. Jonathan has gone on to have a successful career off the back of it. Now I like a performing dog or even one that doesn't perform but I think Jonathan and Charlotte sang it better.

No, but it is spiritual. Scott has a list that he keeps adding on to, and discusses with the group which ones they want to do, plus they also write their own new songs.
I watched the behind the scenes video and at one point Kevin looked like someone had dumped a bag of powered sugar on his head. He was saying that they were trying to do a cool looking snowfall shot and Oops, and he took off to the make up table
