When I first started watching Street Outlaws the cross in the grille caught my attention. Then I saw the level headed calm demeanor you have. No foul language that I can recall ( only started watching this past year).

Jim I love the entire video and I really like your guys setups! As you guys know Ryan is only winning so consistently because he has a stricked working ethic he has a limit on everything that's mechanical on his car and counts how many passes are on all those parts. That includes very strict inspection not just on the car but the laptop an the sensors. Which limits car failure during the Run which is half the battle. You got a 50/50 shot of winning the race if the car makes the trip the rest is knowing your car putting in the work and learning how to tune it to the track conditions. And finding out where your teams weak points are at anything on the engine trans. Chassis or Electronics the small little bugs will drive you crazy personnel and sometimes the driver. I have been scolded once or twice myself for driver error! I think you guys have been putting in the work and damn sure heading the right way I think you screw blower guys are going to be hard to deal with this year. I love the the incremental timeslips you showing us I only got one question on that 239 mph you said you click that at 1,000 ft and you still run 239 I can't wrap my head around that I would actually need to see where you clicked it on the computer especially when you keep telling us that you're running out of gear. Believe Me by no means am I calling you a liar I just need to physically see the screenshot of that run so I can wrap my mind around that you click that off at 1,000 ft. If you did Bro you was Haulin balls! I have always been a big fan of promod and now I love the Npk. I also would need to know if you shove yours in neutral or leave it in gear when you click it off? Good luck this this year keep up the hard work and you'll find out that you can be the man! But you already know that! ✌️

I really enjoyed the blower comparison video you put out a couple days ago. I knew how the Roots style worked, but had never seen the inside of a screw before. I watch both Jim and John step their game up last year I was at the npk Idaho and also went to Texas to watch the finals and Jim&john are both gonna be top 5 this year if not top 1-2 👍

I find the good years don't have the sticky compounds as the Hoosiers or the M/T do I have run both Hoosiers & good years not had the pleasure of trying Mickey Thompsons. I noticed most are either running Hoosiers or Mickey Thompson on no prep or the street personally myself I wish the Hoosiers had a little stiffer sidewall. I'd imagine some of these top npk guys can go talk to the engineers and get some kind of deal worked out with the tires that they need and would like to try. Hell might even get a sponsorship for testing out new tires. Cuz Goodyear really needs to get in the mix...

I know he is an amazing road course driver but to transfer over to a 4,000hp straight line monster shit that ain’t easy. Glad to see you’re getting a handle on those 34.5’s cuz once you do, look out. I’m not an NPK racer and never claimed to be, however I think the new rules seem pretty fair across the board. I think I also read that they will be able to change or alter the rules every 3 races so if One particular combination starts to really crush or walk away from the other combs they will most likely add weight to that particular combination? I think that’s what it meant. Lol anyway love your videos you do an amazing job with them. Best of luck to you and John with the upcoming season. 🇺🇸💪🏼

From my limited understanding of the new rules, even assuming your 2 cars have the exact same everything under the body, you can run 25 pounds lighter than John's car. Just because pre-1979 body styles get a 25 pound weight break.
It was the fastest pass, but I'm pretty sure it was an exhibition race. So why would there be a trophy for an exhibition race? Also if you watched NPK or followed other drag racing events you would know Jim has multiple trophies.
don't know how but You guys need Justin(S/G) to team up with, your great as is but I believe as in content and drag racing goes that would be the most dominate team hands down period. for shits and giggles name another team as in hole that could dominate, I heard Mills changed over to a blower as well from the twins, you 4 are the one's to place bets on this year, I hope you all the best of luck this year in NPK6... ps; the Cream will rise to the Top but don't let the foam go to your head lol
Jim Howe needs to have another car ready incase or a wreck or something. We know Jim Howe is going be fast and be top of leader board this season. But one wreck could make u fall out of top 5 even top 10 it can’t get car fixed by next weekend race. IMO we’re going start seeing racers have 2 cars going forward. Ryan Martin , Kye , Lutz few others have 2 cars ready to go for any track. And 2 cars allows u to run 2 different combos in both cars for certain tracks . One wreck, fire etc can take u out of chance to win NpK championship. Every year we see couple racers staying rite there top of leader board with Ryan then they have wreck or fire and then they can’t make next race or miss multiple races and takes them out of competition. Having 2 NpK cars keeps u ahead of competition

Yes this is very common in many organizations. My 67 camaro is not as aerodynamic as say a 2022 camaro. Or a 2000 model trans-am.
What was the thought process like that helped in deciding to go with a classic Camaro.
