The DLC is in unova, blue berry academy is in unovan waters. At the start of the dlc the head master literally tells you that lacey is the daughter of a unoven gym leader.
And there's an NPC somewhere that mentions that Drayton is also related to a gym leader.
I mean charge-stone cave is just in the dlc
right? like this isn't a reference... they literally said it's part of unova.
Who is Lacey's dad? I've been thinking about it but I seem to be a bit to simple to put it together...

After you finish everything, one of the Elite Four members tells you Kieran backed out of the league, so Crispin actually keeps his spot as an Elite Four member.
Yeah, but I thought it was strange how they didn't fix the rest of the dialogue in the club league. There was one dialogue where Crispin was worried about losing their spot in the Elite 4 because Kieran got knocked down from Champion.
But because he quit the league altogether, Crispin gets to keep it, so they probably forgot to fix that dialogue.

If u talked to Arven after getting the copy of the scarlet/violet book from the time travel event it unlocks a special line mentioning that he thought we just borrowed it from the first floor and doesn't ask any detail on how we got it. Kinda shows that he completely put that part of his life completely behind to focus on what he wants to be

Actually, it doesn't depend on the Pokémon being shiny for Fickle Beam to change attack animations but just random chance.
I think he was trying to say the beam was a different color but I also agree that I don't think it changes

It’s a super small reference but I love how the first Pokémon at the start of the savanah area are all from the kanto safari zone
4:03 it seems to be the pose that Gladion does in Sun and Moon. It would make sense with Z move poses and some rival poses like blue’s smell you later pose.

This is actually a reference to Chuunibyou-also known as middle schooler syndrome. The gist is that upon reaching Highschool, the Chuuni never really loses their imagination, and actually begin to delude themself that their thoughts are real. In Japanese media, this typically translates to the Chuuni believing that they have a 'beast' or 'demon' sealed inside their left hand. The pose itself is them trying to hold back the 'demon' from escaping.
It's just a chunibyo reference really. It's a Japanese culture thing.
BBA is specifically mentioned to be in Unova in game several times. That’s why there’s Unova references lol. I hope there is a game there though and that we could battle Unova characters at BBA in some battle facility. Pokemon World Tournament was epic
PWT was the best feature in a Pokémon game ever. Change my mind 😅
It's worth mentioning two things.
A.) For Meloetta, you only need to spin for 10 seconds, not thirty.
B.) The journal entry mentioning the white book is actually there the first time you enter the underdepths, you can stop to read it before heading further in, and is there to give you a hint about how to proc the post-game event.
When you invite the gym leader you marked as your favorite on the elite 4 quiz, they’ll have special dialogue about it! Larry was mine, and he was very confused as to why.
Same. Lol. I just like Normal Type Pokémon. Gym Leader Norman kicked ass in Gen 3.
I chose Grusha and he asked why like he wasn’t a good role model.

Arven also has special dialogue if you return to him with the Scarlet/Violet book after Sada/Turo gives it to you at the Kitakami crystal pools.

10:00 At the end, in one of the dialogues, they say that Kieran is no longer interested in being a elit 4 member, so Crispin does keep his position.
Correction: You can do the Meloetta event whenever you want. You don't need to complete the Indigo Disk story to get it.

1. Find the location.
2. Spin in the direction the leaves are moving, preferably for 20-30 seconds.
3. Open camera and change the filter to Sepia.
4. Pan the camera around until you hear the music.

@@utlukka950 also, I believe you need to spin clockwise. I tried counter clockwise several times without luck, but got it first try going clockwise

He didn't get downgraded, I'm pretty sure Kieran actually decided to quit the BB League altogether, meaning Crispin keeps his rank.

Okay, I get the main point of “there’s a lot of Unova references”… but it was canonically said that Blueberry Academy is in the Unova region, or at least close enough to be considered part of it.
The extra heads on hydrapple isnt because its shiny. Fickle beam has a 30% chance to double in damage, and that uses the animation of the extra heads
You don't need Terapagos in your team to get the cutscene at the crystal lake, just just need to have it in your PC and have the white book
I remember reading the journal entry before getting Terapagos so when I got the scene I figured I was meant to give him the book, though now I wonder what would happen if I said no...
Was it really the Turo from our time? Or a Turo from another universe? Would he have left to go back to Arven based on our choice to show him the book?
If you call human AI he confirms to have not even thought of the idea yet.
After trading for Turo's copy of the Violet Book if you go to Arven he comments on it, thinking the book is from the school, but not much else is said.
Even if u said no it doesn’t matter, you’re giving them the book
Yeah mini paradox that you gave him the idea of making an AI copy if you ask like that
You cant really do anything but influence them to make it happen like it did
Because if you said "hey btw if you see this pokemon *pops out flagship* then DONT let them run wild and also dont make an AI "
Then the paradox would just autocorrect itself until you didnt try that again

If you never told them to not do those things ,then they wouldnt happen and long story shirt, youd never end up there to tell them NOT to do those things
Thus you never told them in the 1st place because you wouldnt have the chance to be there because none of it happened so they went back to not knowing about your warnings
The Turo we meet at the lake mentions they have a son and still can't get the time machine to work, so it can't be the Turo from our dimension. In the diaries found in the Area Zero, our Turo wrote that his son was born after the time machine was already working.
It's a Turo from a different dimension/timeline.
I hope the pecherunt event stays that way if people want to do another run of this game they wont miss out on it

I never thought Kieran would be evil, he's just confused and misunderstood. And considering there are no bad guys in this entire game (everyone who we are told is bad is just misunderstood like team Star.) my main thoughts at first were Brair being the badguy, lol.

Aren’t the biomes themselves also kind of like the different areas in unova? The coastal biome has the same kind of landscape that the northeast part of unova has( around undela town), the canyon biome is similar to the driftveil area( southwest), the polar biome is similar to the area around icirrus city ( northwest). Only one I’m not sure of is if southeast area of unova is similar to the savannah biome
Nah it's difference regions in general. They reference Alola for the coastal biome.
The one area from the Canyon biome is also pretty much a 1:1 replica of the area Skyla takes you with the shiny Haxorus
these biomes are just standard in every open world game
@@wedding6515 I’m not saying they aren’t, but I also think they could just be mirroring unova’s landscape layout. Unova is also a damn near circle shape region, and there are quite a few locations in the terrarium that are mimicking locations from unova. This whole dlc is a massive unova Easter egg

the secret meloe tta encounter was really cool. i caught it before i fought any elite four members, i even used through the whole dlc

I believe Kieran was possessed during the story. We just helped him break the curse with our battle. He’s the only one who didn’t get possessed in the later story is because the peach didn’t want to take him again

Crispin is still an elite 4 member, since Kieran chose to bow out of the league club entirely rather than be downgraded to an elite 4 member
The fire Elite-four acknowledges if you adhere to the long-standing player tradition of leaving the top of the sandwich off.
The "lion king" reference is likely a Kimba the White Luon reference, since... Pride Rock, as a setpiece, was stolen from Komba the White Lion. Ironic, since the giy who made it was inspired originally by Walt Disney to begin with.
Lion King was based off of a Novel, not Kimba.

There is one thing that I’m skeptical about. It’s the icons on pictures for Koraidon and Miraidon being the same for Ogerpon’s and Terapagos’ Dex images. I was expecting the box Legendaries would get special Tera like forms like the DLC legendary Pokémon

there was also small comment from carmine when battle with her and pulling out ogerpon into the battle and says like how much she missed ogerpon... i said no to Turo to hand it over Briar's book several times and he took no for an answer and repeated over and over "please you must consider"

I am going to speculate: We'll get the Pokemon Black and White remakes and in that pub, if you have Meloetta in your party, instead of getting Relic Song, you will get a special outfit set called the Relic set. ^_^
They tell u that blueberry academy is in Unova so that fits that we'd see references.
Also fickle beam has a chance for all the heads to appear so that's just regular

There is a cave underneath the terrarium map that you can catch galvantula in that very reminiscent of I think it’s called magnet cave or something from black and white, even with the blue floating stones. Pretty on the nose with all the black and white references but it’s still awesome!

You missed an Easter egg. It references the game, Okami. Once you get the smart speaker in the club room, and update the album to play kitikami music, the festival music is exactly the same as the music for the starter village in Okami.
i thought the reasoning for all the unova stuff, was because blueberry academy was well... in unova

I agree since Centro Leaks confirmed that Blueberry Academy is from Unova in the Future, so its likely we MIGHT, but not WILL get a 3rd sequel of BW that will likely takes place in the same timeline as the Blueberry Academy's timeline.

funny thing about the crystal lake event, you dont actually need terapogos in your party. As soon as I got the white book I went straight over there not knowing what would happen and Terapogos just shows up there whether he's in your party or not.
I believe there is more flavor text about how kieren just pulled out of the bb league the story ends, and is taking time off of school, which is why you can't find him
Still sticking to my theory that legends unouva will be a continuation on scarlet /violet, where julianna/florian go to bb academy for a second term and they have to do business with the pokemon league as the acting ambassador for paldea

I doubt Unova is coming next year, as usually the number of the og gen has to double before a remake. Gen 8 for gen 4, gen 6 for gen 3, gen 4 for gen 2, ect.
And Kanto is just scattered randomly, since it was the first one. However, I think next year we might get either gen 1 or 2 remakes again, or gen 10. After gen 10 releases we'll probably get gen 5 remakes soon after

Wait so there is a peach Pokemon I thought it was scratched. But I’m disappointed that Kieran wasn’t controlled by it in the indigo disk dlc and was involved in the terapagos. It would have made the dlc much better and more sense since the point of peach is to control someone and make them achieve their dreams negatively
