Òmir is Kazakh and means „Life“. It’s such a beautiful and touching video. The lyrics are gorgeous and deep and Dimash speaks from his heart and soul. I cry every time I see this video, not because the video is so sad, but because I keep realizing that Dimash is such a humble person who only expresses gratitude, joy and love for his life so far, but also afraid of disappointing those he loves. Who does that these days? And at that age too? What a great human being. He's worked so hard for it his whole life and despite his success he's remained so down to earth, incredibly nice to everyone and never acts like a star. He always makes us think about our own lives.
He made us Dears this song and video for his 29th birthday on May 24th, 2023 as a thank you for the support and love as a gift. He wants to express his gratitude for the fact that life has been good for him so far and that he is grateful for what he has and what life could still (good) have in store for him.
Gratitude for the love and support of his family, friends and of course his Dears. Of course, this can also be applied to the life of anyone who is grateful for life and does not always only see the negative and bad in his life and is only jealous of what the other person might have more, but is satisfied with what he has, of course, continued to try to make his dreams come true. This beautiful song needs no vocal acrobatics and no vocal analysis. We witness pure beauty. What a great song.
Did you recognize Jackie Chan? He first met him in 2017 during the Singer Competition. There's a video of the song Autumn Strong where you can see that. Both are now good friends and I read that Dimash is also currently writing a song for a soundtrack for Jackie Chan's new film.

Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song The Story Of One Sky there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰.
He met David Foster in LA in may 2023.

He sang the anthem of Kazakhstan before the boxing match between Gennady Golovkin of Kazakhstan (Dimash's friend) and Mexican Cancele Alvarez in Las Vegas at the request of his friend Golovkin. Just a few days before his big concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan in September 2022.

Before the boxing fight between Gennady Golovkin from Kazakhstan (Dimash's friend) and the Mexican Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas he sang the national Anthem of Kazakhstan . He traveled to Las Vegas at the request of his friend Golovkin just a few days before his big concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan in September 2022.
This video isn't on yt anymore but there is a video where he sings the anthem on television on New Year's Eve, immediately after the President of Kazakhstan's New Year's address.

Dimash does not have blood running through his veins, musical notes have flowed through him since he was born. The genes of their parents and their siblings were also passed on to them. 😊

His parents are very famous singers in their country, his mother is a soprano. It is in his genes because his grandmother was a singer when he was young, his parents are both very famous singers in their country. His father sings normal, and writes song lyrics and is a producer. His mother is a soprano, she sings very well and they usually go out as a duet.
