- The plaintiff says she dated the defendant in college and they became engaged. She claims he became physically abusive and dragged her on the concrete. She’s suing for the balance due on an engagement ring and emotional distress. The defendant says he found out the plaintiff cheated after she got pregnant and he discovered the baby might not be his. He denies owing anything.
If you have to buy your own engagement ring it’s not the relationship you need to be in sis.

This was a very volatile and violent relationship from the very beginning. But I do give the plantiff credit for not going through with the marriage. Most woman continue on with a relationship even after the red flag but this particular woman did not. Kudos to her because she made a very sound and astute decision.
