I know this video was about which e-collar is best but to me using the e-collar only as a means to reinforce commands the dog already knows is the best take away from this video.
    Great info as always!

Great information as always and agree fully. I really enjoy using the Dogtra Arc newest model just released with a stim lock and custom boost option. Major needed improvements.

I currently have the ecollar et300. Def looking for an upgrade as my male Newfie is 190 and can be a bit stubborn depending on the situation, but my female only req a very low stim. I’ll look into this model

I'm glad that you stress using a remote collar responsibility.

As a professional dog trainer with over 22 years of e-collar experience, I'd opt for an ET-800 from E-collar Technologies. That's my choice for most Rottweilers, Dogo Argentinos, Cane Corsos, etc. And in my opinion 9 months isn't too young for pet dog training with e-collars if the dog has first been taught commands using reward marker training. In fact, I will use e-collars humanely and effectively to stop bad behaviors with even younger dogs if necessary. Saves a lot of puppies from being rehomed or returned to shelters.

We sell E-Collar Technology remotes and have since they first came on the market. At one time Greg(the owner) told me we sold 14% of his yearly sales. They have very good customer service. They have too because the products need servi ce too often (my opinion) This is why we recommend Dogtra,.
Nit sure where trainers draw a line on how old a puppy Vs adolescence is ? With most breeds its around 10 to 12 months but can be later,. I would not recommend using remotes on puppies for any reason. If puppies are properly managed and kept on a leash they don't need remotes.

For beginners Dogtra for more advanced trainers Martin 3b with the k9 remote by far the best in class

I second the chameleon and K9. I was hesitant at the price tag but omg so worth it. Coming from a mini educator, the battery life is unreal. I have a Dutch Shepherd and Rottweiler who both wear collars almost all day. I only need to charge 1x a week or so
