Since I have already claimed my website and most pins go there, can I still send people to Instagram? Or should I only be sending people to my website?

It really depends on the content and your overall strategy . I do a variety.
If I have a piece of content that I have a really high quality blog or something on my site, I'm going to send it there. But, if I have a shorter form piece of content like a reel with a CTA, I might repurpose it to Pinterest and link it back to my Instagram.
