I took my kayak for a first lake paddle. Started in sunshine but just after start dark cloud appeared. I listen to the thunder but it came closer and closer.
I make next door adventures in Sweden, alone and with my wife Erika.

Better put the kayak parallel with the coastline, put the paddle behind you with one end resting on the shore, hold it with your hands (behind your back) and then get in.

Yes that is stable, but is not that cheating? Most problem here is the 3m selfie stick that I have in the middle of the cockpit when I enter the kayak😂
