This is the best way to introduce them to the concept of language before they can specialize in one. Also, Multilingual education develops non-verbal skills, teaches them social skills, and lays a foundation for understanding different ethnicities, traditions, and views.
I can't remember the last time I heard such an amazing speaker introduction. In fact, I can't think of one that wouldn't have made the event better had it simply been omitted entirely.
