Your department really needs to reevaluate the gear policy (when it comes to your patrol stuff) But all that aside, I’m a current 11B in the ARNG and trying to get on with my state’s highway patrol or the academy this summer. Thank you for influencing me to do the military first and then try to go law enforcement. Your video that covered that particular topic was a massive influence on my life. Stay safe!
Your setup is almost identical to mine. I would look into key holding belt keepers. They make them in basketweave and I’ve never lost the sole key I keep in there. I only keep a spare car key on my person. I like my belt to not make any noise when I’m walking. Plus it’s way quicker to get in and out of your locked car by drawing from the belt keeper lol, no fumbling around on belt or digging in pocket. Love the video man
Man, the first thing I noticed during your intro was the SERPA BlackHawk Level III. Those things are dangerous man! Just take a peek on CZcams and you'll see hundreds of vids about why they're dangerous. Stay safe man! Edit: Just saw you were already planning on replacing it. Glad to see!
You should really have a look at the safariland 579 holster (or 578, comes with paddle and belt loop), it fits over 200 handguns in the same holster and the GLS release sistem is sooo much better and safer than any serpa holster.
Very informative vid! I wouldn't mind if you increased the recording volume. Would be cool if you did videos on SWAT physical prep after becoming a police officer and aspects of selection.
Great set up very cool. They banned the black hawk 3 years ago be careful drawing your weapon under stress. I have a safariland 6360 for my Sig Sauer P320 45 ACP. The triple retention is great. I like your swat team set up to. I use a tactical LLC Condor duty belt with a Cobra belt buckle for tactical assignments. I have a basket weave leather duty belt made by Bianchi. My pouches are all Safariland Basket weave pouches. I have a ten round round glove pouch on my 12 gage Remington 870. It goes over the butt of the shot gun.
I’m a sergeant in West Melbourne Florida our department uses the Taser x26p great video I always have my taser on light and laser combination and I have my Taser on my right side because I’m right handed so it is easier to pull out if I need to
I personally am not a fan of hinge cuffs. In my past experiences where I’ve put the first one on and then they start to resist it’s a lot harder to put the second one on. Just my opinion though. Other than that my setup is exactly identical to a Tee. Great video 👍🏻
I've heard that the hinges are better because you can block your fingers in the chain and break them, and it give the suspect a way to get his hand in front of him, with those this man will break is wrist !
I have actually had some one break their wrist with hinge cuff cause it doesn't allow them to rotate there wrist needles to say I don't use those cuffs anymore
I rock the same key holder - mainly because it’s super easy to use one handed. Loads of colleagues use karabiners - how ever I find their always using two hands, which can be an issue if your putting car keys away quickly in a foot chase etc
I have a similar set up. Only difference is your TQ & I have an expandable. I have the snap for my 2nd pair of cuffs. Going to see if I have room to move my TQ in front of my gun. Don’t have much space, only a 36W duty belt.
I too am stuck using my issued belt. I'm stuck with the uber-shitty law pro nylon belt with the plastic fastex buckle. Thankfully, I'm allowed to run the Safariland 6360 and a tlr-1hl. My agency issues the same serpa as yours but no light at all. My brass isn't happy about my "high speed" holster and open top mag pouches but until the policy changes they can't do anything about it. Sometimes you have to find loopholes in policy so you can do your job effectively.
My dad is a cop and I like to pretend I’m one (I do at home roleplays so I’m not commuting a felony) but he just said a lot of the stuff they use is getting replaced so he’s giving me the stuff that is getting replaced so yeah fun for me
I put my last name (or initials) dept initials and numbered my mags including the one in the gun. Helps if u get in a shooting and are changing and dropping mags, they can have an idea what order/how many rounds from each etc. and also helps keep track on the range. I also used a silent key keeper. Works wonders for sneaking up on people. Otherwise I had a similar setup. Good to keep shit off your lower back. Will save you for those long days sitting in a squad.
I agree with almost everything in this video besides the Blackhawk holster for the pistol my father has been working in law enforcement for 30 years not want to see you one of his officers shot themselves in leg because of that holster and that's pretty much what they use is nothing with that holster ... You just need to know where your fingers are in the right times, by the way very smart with the cuff holsters.
Great video what sight is that’s on the Glock? And a suggestion you should do a video on equipment you think all LEOs should have maybe would help some of us new guys I.e radio ear piece
Love it, agree with the holster, dumb design and I hate the Blackhawk light. I had a Surefire and switched to a TLR1-HL, much better light for me. I like how it has the strobe like the lawman does. I run all Stream light on my duty gear!
Keep it up bro ! Appreciate the content as well as everything you and anyone else that wears the uniform daily does. Thanks again from the 50th state 🤙
Awesome video man, I work Armed Security and have been looking at getting a new belt..we can't were basketweave or leather, and my current belt is really floppy and the velcro is giving out as well. Any recommendations that won't break the bank? Thanks brother, stay safe.
Might want to move that handcuff pouch. I think a general rule is that you should never have 2 essential items that could cause interference with each other. If you open your handcuff case and then have to switch to lethal force, a half open handcuff case could block your draw. Stay safe.
Tourniquet ! its something that you place upper your bleeding injuries that simply keep your blood inside you ahah, i really highly recommend you to look for it on internet and buy one, this is one of the most important piece of any type of gear, you suppose to have 4 of this on you so check out ! its really important !
Yes, I did. Thats why before I got my Tuff Kuffs I would carry a set of chained ones just in case I came across someone on the larger side, someone not flexible enough or with big shoulders.
Greetings from AZ, your belt looks almost as bad as mine... Too much shit, not enough belt. Their looking at letting us wear a semi-tac vest so maybe can move some stuff onto the vest and off my belt..
Where is your baton? Priceless tool that is needed when the Taser won't work. And please, please ditch that Blackhawk holster. Tons of safety advisories out with those.
Your duty holster and light requirements make me cry.....literally
Don’t make me cry
I would agree I use a Blackhawk holster too
Gaming and cop is it a bad holster?
Zach S it’s was or is under investigation by homeland security
@@zach_55 banned by fletc and LAPD

Did you make it to SP or the academy
Holy moly those tuff cuffs. I’ve never seen anything like that before. It’s like a cross between hinged cuffs and ridged cuffs.

6 year old flashlight and radio? They've been through some stuff 😞

Appreciate the detail on placement for each item on the duty belt.
You have an amazing channel and great potential for the future!

If it was up to me I would 100% be wearing something else but we can’t :/
Very informative vid! I wouldn't mind if you increased the recording volume. Would be cool if you did videos on SWAT physical prep after becoming a police officer and aspects of selection.
Shotgun shell tip is genius
In the future, you’re probably going to get a lot of people who want links to all your gear. Just some food for thought
thanks! Just getting started will def add that for future videos !
I’ve been following you for the longest time on instagram and I just found out today that you have a CZcams channel!! Definitely got a my subscription
Love the tactical stickers.

I think I missed it, what’s the pouch in between your cuffs and TQ, is that your OC or a multi-tool?
Jordan Pacheco I forgot to add it when I made the video and yes dawg its a pouch for the OC

Congrats bro on your channel success. Good video
You should do a video series interviewing some of the guys you work/train with.
Great video man! I'm going in to the sheriff academy next year and this is great information!
Just watched this video and ran across your channel- good stuff I subbed based on your tips and suggestions. Stay safe!
i follow you on the instagrams, glad to see the video. Audio was changing back and forth but i subscribed, liked and hit the little bell thingy.

Nicely done IG now CZcams 💪💪💪💪 NOW GO PAY THE MAN 🤣🤣
Ralph Lugo figured this would make it easier on everyone. Now you don’t have to scroll on IG you can just search.
Awesome vid bro if may make a suggestion or observation...try to put links to some of the gear in the description below. And keep it going 👍
Awesome video, really informative. Where do you recommend baton placement? Strong side behind the pistol is where I see it the most.
bro Zero9holsters radio holsters are amazing and they run only about 40 or so bucks.
Great video what sight is that’s on the Glock? And a suggestion you should do a video on equipment you think all LEOs should have maybe would help some of us new guys I.e radio ear piece

Wait blackhawk made weapon lights?
Dude, how have I been following you for so long on Instagram and only to this date found your CZcams account?!
Billesh55 lol it’ll start being more active! Been slacking on my CZcams game.
The only thing I disagree with is a fixed blade on the belt in a open top sheath with no active retention
Good job. Great review of your kit.
Good video man! Love seeing you on CZcams now!!
Can you do a gun show case where you show your guns and fire them at at shooting range?
CHUCK A DUCK sure can 👊🏽
Gear Dude thanks!
I am a state trooper and we have to do 15 hour shifts
Gaming and cop You're not a State Trooper
No...no you're not.
There is no way that u are a state trooper
Just so you know impersonating is a felony.
Gaming and cop ur not a state trooper u sound like a 9 year old it’s also a felony to say ur police officer when ur not
Keep it up bro ! Appreciate the content as well as everything you and anyone else that wears the uniform daily does. Thanks again from the 50th state 🤙

From which brand are These pouches, (meaning like cuff pouches and for the other stuff)
Dude please keep making vids!!
Friends don't let friends use blackhawk holsters.
My new favorite youtuber!!!
A lot of knowledge? First rule of law-enforcement is KISS…..
Can you do a video on DAGRE?
yessirr please do a video on dagre and SF
in the works!
Awesome video. I want to be in Law Enforcement when I grow up.
Get the cobra buckle. They have one that fits a duty belt
Am I the only one who became uneasy when he pointed an off safety taser directly at what is potentially his groin?
I love the idea for the knife... can you tell me where to get it...
What are your benefits of having one cuff in front and one behind? Thanks
Andy Campbell Primary up front for me secondary on the back. If I had more room up front for another set I would put it there instead of the back.
@thatgeardude
Rubber bands on your tq brosev
thatgeardude try a double cuff case
Good information man. You should do a video of your guns soon
Sweet vid man, do a plate carrier setup!
Might want to move that handcuff pouch. I think a general rule is that you should never have 2 essential items that could cause interference with each other. If you open your handcuff case and then have to switch to lethal force, a half open handcuff case could block your draw. Stay safe.
Post more videos bro!
What bent do you use for your swat belt? I need a molle belt and wondering if the volund belts are worth spending the coin on. Thank you
Who can I buy it ?
Hey bro I am a public safety officer and I am looking into the ur swat belts for my duty
sup man. is that basketweave belt 2.25 or 2 inch? Looking at the Perfect Fit key keeper, just want to make sure itll be compatible w/ a 2.25 belt.
I’ll have to check dawg. That’s agency issued and I’m not really sure what it is.
no baton??
nope
What medical gear do you carry in your cargo pocket when on patrol?
Whats a tournikit? Probably said it wrong, anyways, its the object at 12:50 ? Anyways cool video!!
Tourniquet ! its something that you place upper your bleeding injuries that simply keep your blood inside you ahah, i really highly recommend you to look for it on internet and buy one, this is one of the most important piece of any type of gear, you suppose to have 4 of this on you so check out ! its really important !
This is my current setup: czcams.com/video/HrPAVIJZYmQ/video.html
You missed what ever is in between the TQ and the handcuffs
alex Mchaggis it’s OC spray
Great video! Great advice! Keep up the great content man 🙏⚫️🔵⚫️🙏
I carry Smith and Wesson hinge cuffs and they seem to not fit alot of males. Do you have that issue with hinge cuffs? Thanks
Yes, I did. Thats why before I got my Tuff Kuffs I would carry a set of chained ones just in case I came across someone on the larger side, someone not flexible enough or with big shoulders.
@@thatgeardude ok thanks.
Hey, do you got a TLR-1 I can buy from ya? I’ve got a holster but my light don’t fit it, also nice video!
Neg, all I have is SF bro
MY FAV LEO
Solid info.
Do u recommend your swat about 2 foot patrol officers
What kinda IFAK is that on your SWAT duty belt?
Greetings from AZ, your belt looks almost as bad as mine... Too much shit, not enough belt. Their looking at letting us wear a semi-tac vest so maybe can move some stuff onto the vest and off my belt..
What pouch are you using for the Surefire lawman ?
The weight of this belt is...?
Laurentiu Laurentiu oofff like 25 pounds?
Plot twist: It's all airsoft gear.
What is the pouch between your TQ & primary handcuffs? Also, where do you keep your handcuff key(s)?
Looks like an OC spray pouch
Lorenzo Sanchez oc
Dad!
I don’t see @garand_thumb anywhere?
Braedon Mckinnon grandfather Haley?
Braedon Mckinnon that’s my uncle you know
I don’t think you need the d-ring for police work
Nice with the tourniquet
Do you have to use that specific mic for the radio?
What brought you to not carry a baton?
What kind of knife is on your swat belt
Love the content
Don’t use the serpa holdster
No baton?
So the cops can turn the cameras on and off as they wish?
More vids man!
God damn your everything
Cool
nice video! I just uploaded a video with my duty belt setup as well
Where did you get that knife near your taser?
Try bladehq
If anyone knows where I can get my hands on a set off tuff cuffs, let me know. I will pay top dollar for them. I dont care. @gear dude
Where is your baton? Priceless tool that is needed when the Taser won't work. And please, please ditch that Blackhawk holster. Tons of safety advisories out with those.
I just watch on Apple TV with youtube, very like. It..need to buy the same thing of you bro
