Thanks for another wonderful video. It was great seeing all those clothes made from woven cloth.

Thank you for this great video Gary! I have always admired hand woven items at exhibits here in Canada. ie. ( Upper Canada Village and Black Creek Village in Toronto) When I was a young person, I would not have considered wearing anything made of woven cloth,But as I grow older, it would be an honour to wear a coat, jacket, etc made from these beautiful weaves! ( now if only I could afford them!! 😔. I know they would be worth every penny!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🧑🏻‍🦰🇨🇦

Hi Gary! I am a little late getting to this edition but am so glad to be here today! I thoroughly enjoyed both the visual and the educational aspects of weaving wearables. Liz's coats are beyond beautiful! As far as the legacy of wearable fiber arts goes, I wonder if smocking, as I did on my daughter's little dresses, and embellishing mostly women's clothing with cross-stitch or embroidery, as I did when my daughter was a little older, could be considered wearable fiber art in one of your presentations. Some of the pieces I created certainly became legacies! Many thanks for sharing your knowledge with those of us interested in fiber art. Keep up the amazing work!

Smocking and surface embroidery on clothes certainly fit into this category!
