It's so cute! I LOVED the extra velvet heard you did in the middle of the first heart. Unfortunately I only have regular lacquer, which is already a pain in the ass for regular magnetizing. Thank you for showing both!

after 2 days of trial and error I can confirm a HUGE problem is the magnet! you need a strong magnet for sure. i got a pack of 4 from jeff bezos and when stacked I get a very defined heart. i also did use a thinner paperclip and I think it does the job as well! thank you for sharing girl it really helped I was starting to lose hope🙌

My first time was an epic fail! But I soon learned that the magnets act differently depending on which way round they are, the pre-made sticks already account for this, regular or blank magnets you've got to work out which way is which.
I failed a bunch too! The magnet definitely makes the biggest difference. There are so many little things that come in to play with this design but once you get it, it’s a lot easier ☺️

How did the bar magnets compare to the round ones you prefer? A bit curious if it still worked.
It still worked! But I had to hold it longer to get the heart to form. I also felt like because the round ones were stronger, the heart had a sharper outline

I actually don’t think any of them I used are 9D! I have each shade listed in the description, as well. This should work with any cat eye! 🥰
First time I've ever seen this. I need guitar nails (right hand) and am wondering what other shapes are possible?

NOT GETTING IT! If it isn't on a magnet, it won't work. Putting it on a magnet, though, the magnet moves the polish before I can turn it into a heart.
Is that because I have to have the correct magnet???????
It’s okay if the polish moves before the heart forms. Are you holding the wire and magnet over the nail long enough? Sometimes it takes a little time
