To give more details if someone if want to thrift in Paris :
Most of the shop in Paris are vintage shop but there are a few thrift store.
Rue de la verrière is a trendy street with 4 vintage shop : Kilo shop, Kilo Shop Kawai (more young and kinda Japanese inspired) and 2 FreepStar. In FreepStar there is bin where everything is 1€ and you can find amazing clothing if you have time. There is also racks and it's overall cheaper than Kilo Shop.
Then there is the real thrift shop : Emmaus and Guerrisol, both have at least 10 shop in Paris. It's really cheap but not curated thus you need more time. There is also Come on Eileen, they have a normal thrift shop section but also racks with designers clothing for a good price !

United Colors of Benneton was like the Free People of the 80's. Amazing Find!!!!!
I'm obsessed with all United Colors of Benneton pieces but I struggle to find them for myself. I scored majorly in the kids section of a deadstock department store in my home town with a bunch of colourful bedazzled turtlenecks. I'm quite obsessed. Their sweaters are amazing.

I love the berets, the subdued olive and white sweater, and the bennetton jacket! The textured cream jacket i immediately saw with a ... Nehru collared pleated bib front blue and white dress. (Polka dogs or striped) with your mustard beanie!

I love the checkered coat, it was definitely a score! United colours of Benetton is an Italian brand, if you're interested. It's generally pretty good quality, especially vintage items, I have a couple of jumpers from the early 90s and they stood the test of time. It think they switched to that green label in the late 90s/ early 2000s.

I looooove that multicolored coat! If I would've been there when you found it, you would've had to fight me for it, no joke. I love pieces that are made out of different patches, with blocks of color or actual patched up, diverse fabrics! You should wear it with confidence, it's a lovely rainbow turned into a piece of clothing ❤

I love your multi-colored coat! Benetton (pronounced- ben-eh-tON) was so popular when I was a kid in the 80's, it was like a high end GAP. Way out of our price range, but I loved looking at their catalogs and ads!

Benetton was everything in the 90s. People think goth and grunge is what it was about, but at my high school it was about wearing Benetton and Canterbury, so much colour lol.

It sounds like such a great time in Paris- how exciting! I really liked everything you got, and it all looked so pretty on you! My favorites were: the berets (for capturing the vibe of Paris), the houses on fire sweater (for the unique vibe), and the textured jacket (I know you'll be able to rock it in a lot of outfits).

I think my favourites are tied at scarf, gingham turtleneck, and fringe jacket! Absolutely gorgeous finds! I found a pierre cardin scarf in a thrift store for really cheap and had to get it. I laugh whenever i hear the name, it reminds me of chipmunk adventure from when i was little when sophies chewing on klaus' pierre cardin socks :D

United Colours of Benetton was hugely popular and expensive when I was a teen in the mid 90s. They had cool ads too... seeing you be unfamiliar with the brand reminds me that I'm getting old, lol 😁. All these purchases look good on you, even the sweater with the non- noticeable hole

As for the german words pn the gingham pattern turtleneck... There’s a trick you can do to figure out the meaning of a german word without looking it up. Try saying it out loud - english still shares a lot of words with german and you can often figure them out by comparing them to the english words they sound similar to (but not always 😅). It helps if you pretend it’s english being spoken with a german accent.
For example: blut sounds like blood, schwester sounds similar to sister, madchen sounds like maiden (I think it actually means girl, but it’s been a while since I last studied german 😅), and so on.

That last jacket!!! I saw a jacket exactly like that on depop months ago and I was broke at the time but I was so intent on getting it. A couple days later and someone already purchased it D: One of my biggest regrets. But it is so nice seeing it again in your video (even if it technically isn't the same exact one). Definitely a great pick!
