- In this video we visit Drayton reservoir for another crack at a mental session! This time though we’d be taking Old Man River and J.
We set a target to beat the 20 carp we caught last time and Wayne and Foxy go head to head against Old Man River and J in a mini competition.

The fish are battered un there, I used to fish the res about 20 years ago, the fish were smaller but we're in brilliant condition, now days most of the fish have lips missing, its pretty sad really, tight lines tho lads 🎣🎣🎣

Great video lads glad to see the cradle being used. Instead of getting a 2 man I use the advanta universal extension wrap makes my 1 man into a big 2 man if your looking for a cheaper option. Good work as always

Drayton is a canal top up reservoir. It always gets low in the summer, but more so this year. It’ll fill back up soon enough.
The trick is getting into the waders before you pick the rod up 😂, leave the straps done up and down the sides , lol

I went like a week or 2 before you and God I hated it haha, from my peg and all pegs to the right, nobody got a bite, would never go back haha
It’s defo the water level effecting things. Last time we went it was mental during the night
@@FreshFishing we were on 14 and 15 away from main water water only 7ft at 15 wraps, we moved to the dam wall on the lastnight and me mate had 2 both pbs but I quit and slept in my van before that haha, good vid lads

Yeah the fish condition seemed to have worsened since our last visit. It’s great for a run but not so much for pretty carp haha
