If you scan the sasquatch (it's an achievement) and press the button to take you to the journal entry on it, it takes you to Elizabert's page. I just think that's neat.
Fun fact I only discovered after playing the game, you can find the snaksquatch in the wild and scan it, but it disappears if you get too close

@@forestissleepy snaxsquatch is in certain areas at night, until sunrise (so you can sleep until 5pm, midnight, or 5am and run into it). Flavor Falls, Garden Grove, Simmering Springs, Scorched Gorger, Sugarpine Woods, and Frosted Peaks. GG, SG, and FP are the easiest to scan since it appears close by the sleeping areas there. You can also scan it in the Undersnax, and it makes a cameo during the ghost stories event if you turn around while the other grumpuses are talking (but you can't scan it then, it's just there to be spooky)
For the snaxsquatcg you can either stumble upon it randomly, use the finale or farm encounters at scorched Gourge by constantly sleeping and looking towards the windmills with the camera (that’s how I did it)
I love that as soon as Daniel got the device his first decision was to start human experiments and create horrifying monsters

Cromdo really did steal it. What a conman
Technically, I'm pretty sure every tool was made by Snorpy. He could'a very well gave Filbo the Snaktrap and helped Gramble build the Buggy Ball. Cromdo obviously stole it, you can actually tell he did because you can see parts of what looks like the lunchpad in the cabin. Snorpy directly gives you the Snakgrappler and Tripshot. I'm not sure about the Sauce Slinger, it seems simple enough that Wambus could'a built it himself. But I'm not exactly sure.

Some of my favorite descriptions pf this game are “the drugs aren’t working”, “You can’t eat your problems”, and “Body Horror mixed with the Lord of the Flies and Sesame Street”.
Funnily enough, RT couldn’t’ve even gotten the bad ending because he completed all the sidequests.
An npc becomes immune to dying during the final event when all their sidequests are complete.

As someone whose 100%’ed the game....it can kinda get....a lot? Like it’s obviously done with talent and joy but it’s every other sentence and sometimes makes sentences go on for way too long. I really love the idea of it just...moderation.

Also, Bugsnax are practically a metaphor for drugs, when you think about it. Chandlo thought they would make him stronger, Wiggle thought they could give her inspiration, Cromdo thought he could make money from them, Floofty thought they could use them for some extreme medical breakthroughs, etc.

That explains why they just BECOME the food. At that point there's more calories in the Bugsnax than in them.
I think it's just super high for the sake of exaggeration, because you'd be eating like a burger the size of your torso.
And there's even more to the nutrition facts thing. Companies are allowed to use kilocalories so it sounds like you're eating less, but they have to use "Calories" specifically with a capital C. It's a marketing "trick."
This feels like one of those games you play as a kid and remember for the rest of your life not sure if it was real or not
One of the subtle creepy/off-putting elements is how everyone's upper jaw and cranium moves, too much even for a muppet. I keep thinking "that's BACKWARDS!"

Chandlo and Snorpy are in a relationship we should all aspire to have. Chandlo acknowledges Snorpy’s social anxiety and doesn’t want him pushed too far out of his comfort zone. Snorpy isn’t athletic like Chandlo, but builds gadgets to help Chandlo do what he loves. Charpy for the win!

Snorpy is probably my favorite fictional conspiracy theorist of all time.
I don't know what it was about it, but Pickle Beffica got me laughing uncontrollably, and then you horribly twisting the other characters kept me from recovering for long enough to make my abdominals hurt.
This game is a national treasure and deserves a sequel. I'm not sure how it would work, but I'm sure Young Horses can make it work.
I never realized this game was made by octodad creators and it just makes so much more sense for some reason

@@Tinlion09 I think this game is so weird. It's supposedly for children and give them lessons like "you're what you eat" and I guess it promotes veganism too. It also has non toxic LGBT relationships.
But it also needs you to do some very questionable things in order to progress on. You need to spy on everyone to get the good ending, you need to feed a vegan live animals while he sleepkwalks (so he thinks he can't control himself and may eat his pets, his only family) for an achievement.
I guess feeding others Bugsnagx is part of the main plot but I don't think most children would like feeding cute live critters to others.

When I first played the game I didn't do all the side quests and some of the characters literally melted and turned into big snax in front of me, one of the biggest wtf moments in gaming.
Wiggle was eerily close early on to what the bugsnax really were, calling them “forbidden fruit” and even mentioning the queen of bugsnax
im not seeing many people talking about that implications of that strabby on the boat at the end. that's a bugsnax. *they brought it back to the mainland.*
