any chance of giving tips for making this type of thing as i plan to work on something similar in the future using godot? very cool project and im definitely subbing to see more in the future
Yeah sure, at the moment there is a video on my channel where you can see how the province meshes are made. It is called how to make flat maps. More than that will probably come in some new videos.
Hey would it be possible to share your current project code/git repo if you have one? I am looking to make a map making tool in godot and your project looks really intriguing for it
Hey! I made it all myself, in terms of software you can lookup Wonderdraft/Dungeondraft or Inkarnate to make fantasy textures. If your talking about reference images for just the provinces id suggest either old historical maps or even mods for games like ck3. But yeah its all original and not a copy pasta :)
i think its just a proof of concept to show it is possible to make Grand Strategy games in Godot (for those who want to ditch Unity for some "weird" reasons)
wow I am so glad I found this it looks amazing

I had similar ideas on a game except I want it to be a bit more like a mix of M&B Bannerlord and EU4.
Also, what do you use to distinguish provinces?
How did you get that map texture? Any resources I can search up for good province maps?
