WHO DARES WINS!
I’m not ashamed to say a tear escaped whilst listening to this . The SAS showed themselves to the world and we were proud to be British. I loved my time in the Duke of Edinburghs Royal regiment . The SAS are the best of us . And the rest of us ain’t to bad either .
We are a team
Well done comrade Rusty
@@RustyFirminSASTV if people only realised that eh. Blessings
Blessings mucker. Amen to that!

Best soldiers in the world, 22 SAS. WE LOVE YOU
A fitting tribute to all those who served. R.I.P to all those who lay there in that hallowed ground.Their names liveth for evermore.🇫🇯🇫🇯🇬🇧🇬🇧. Sgt Talaiasi Labalaba Fijian Hero, you will never be forgotten.
Not forgotten, particularly in my regiment alongside Lt Col Mayne. Rest In Peace, Faugh a Ballagh
When is the OBE coming for this man ? ....... I know men like you don’t do it for the glory but it is nice to be recognised , god bless you rusty.
And nice gloves 👌
Makes you feel very humble and proud, God bless all
They along with the rest of our Armed Forces exemplify everything that is good about this sadly deteriorating country of ours.
God bless the sas, the best of the best, the ultimate sacrifice, love from Scotland
God Bless you Rusty You Legend!
Excellent Rusty! Glad it was you!
Nice one Rusty. Glad to see you wore gloves for this Op’ 😀
Total respect for all who put their lives at stake and sadly didn't come home, thanks rusty lovely tribute
Awesome respect to one and all 🙏
Absolutely loved the movie...6 days....quality....you make us all proud to be British rusty xx
My two children went to the Primary School that borders the Churchyard and were christened beneath that window. The Churchyard is running out of space, in no small part as a result of dead hero's buried there. We, as a nation, simply do not understand the sacrifices made on our behalf by our fellow citizens as we go about our selfish lives.
Really nice that God bless them all
God bless them all,much respect
Fitting tribute, sleep well x
Very moving tribute Rusty,They paid the ultimate price for there country, and we will never forget.R.I.P. To all those brave men.🙏🇬🇧
Thank you Rusty.
Really touching and beautiful video Rusty. I like the way you landed in St Martins. I must say though I offer a different view being one of the sons. It's very powerful the idea of service but I know from personal experience that it rarely has anything to do with queen and country. I mean I wanted to get back to Hereford once because of my father Terry who you knew to. I also sought action, excitement and the prestige of belonging to elite forces. The Queen or country didn't enter my mind and it didn't enter my dad either when he joined as a poor northerner. Many outside go for it but it is in fact propoganda at the end of the day - a belief system sold once you're in for a time. I've always wondered where the idea of unconditional service came from given my own experience and my dad. It's an interesting subject and aspect of someone's military evolution. Whatever, the loss of life is always sad. I love them Rusty and remember them. Many in that plot I knew also. Mark
Exceptionally brave men. Legends for eternity RIP ❤

Could do with you and John Mac in your prime today to help sort this country out. God bless you Rusty and the SAS, you's really do make us feel proud. Always punching above our weight. My grandad served with the SAS in Malaysia during the emergency he said you guys are the best of the best.
Yes my Dad always spoke highly of the British in Malaysia.
@@dmg1866 When my grandad told me about the headhunters i thought he was joking until i seen them on a docu. My grandad said the SAS where the best he'd seen he said he would not want to go into battle against them.
@@handsomestranger8211 yes it's true about the headhunters who live deep in the jungle. Scary stuff. Wouldn't want to lose one's way there. We lived near Butterworth in Province Wellesley.
@@dmg1866 Think the SAS lived with them to learn jungle warfare. Thanks for replying
God bless to all as these men, many times have not been recognised for what they did for our country.

Bless them all, proud to be British and proud of the SAS. All the British military. 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Fantastic to see MrsT , perhaps the last politician to properly value our servicemen and women.
The poppy is a sign of respect to those that never came back. Also to help those who were mentally and physically damaged in the service to the crown
Per mare per terram
Not forgotten. Not one, not ever. Good man, Rusty. All the best to you. 🍻🇬🇧🇳🇿
Well Done Rusty 👏 SAS WHO DARES WINS .
Excuse my language but that's just fucking awesome !! , Rusty, His Colleagues & The Regiment make me proud to be British ...We Will Remember
What an honour Rusty, may they all be at rest.
Very moving. God bless them all , well done Rusty .
You remembered the gloves this time Rusty! but for an event absolutely well worthy of remembrance. I am ex-TA of some 6 years past service, and day job as a civil servant (for 28 years, two years to go until I can get out of it for good) and in that time, more recently it has sickened me how the government, the state has been slowly destabilising our country, which is deteriorating rapidly in many ways than one, but particularly in dealing with our forces today by people who know absolutely lots about nothing much! and how they are ignoring and leaving their people and country more and more vulnerable and open to security issues from outside our country......and now some of our forces placed under foreign control and our tanks going!...whats next? What does Boris mean when he blabs on about his 'Churchill spirit' (is he talking about his favourite scotch i shouldn't wonder). In my civil service time I have known of one award (an OBE) given for services to photocopying! (there may be more like it)...to quote the immortal words of a long-time civil service friend of mine when he found out..."what, a fcukin medal for fcukin photocopying?....I (he) should get the VC then...." So yeah you and your guys (and other members of the 'Forces Team' as a whole) need absolute recognition, not just one day a year. But politicians today are self-interested portfolio and prestige builders, people without any conviction who lack the gonads to stand up and say what they are thinking; anything that doesn't contribute to that prestige they are not interested in.
Brilliant Rusty.
This makes you think. Total respect. Old UK Veteran. God bless
I visited st Martin's church last week..it was a very moving experience seeing the resting place of these brave men...and laying flowers by the grave of a school pal. Sgt Kev butterton. God rest his soul.
While these SAS heroes live on the street, the terrorist that was not killed in the embassy siege lives in a house provided by the council.
An absolute joke and disgrace shame on the governments past and present
They also live in West Belfast were republicans continue to kill people...
Liveth forevermore-sleep tonight safe in your beds thx to these men and all like them in the free world TOMMY 27

NO ONE COULD BE MORE PROUD THAN YOU...GOD BLESS..!!!!!!!!
In my town of Newtownards we have a statue to Blair Paddy Mayne who as you are aware was one of the original members of the SAS. Tragically he was killed in 1955 in a car accident. He is buried in our local cemetery. On remembrance Sunday I will pay his grave a visit and pay my respects to him and the rest of our fantasticly brave British Tommy's.
God bless them.
Was it a motor cycle accident??
I’m going as soon as I can , Paddy is a hero of mine.
@@RustyFirminSASTV as far as I am aware he was killed as he crashed his car into a wall in Mill St Newtownards. The story goes he was drunk and badly injured but because of his volitle temper nobody went to his assistance so sadly he succumb to his injurys...
He actually ran into a parked lorry in Newtownards. He was born for wartime rather than peacetime. Good statue of him in N’ards and a blue plaque on the family home. RIP Paddy Mayne. Buried in the family grave in Movilla Abbey. His story should be more widely told. My father in law met him after the war when he visited the local school that I also attended - Regent House.
God bless you rusty and all your comrades, thank you for putting your life on the line for us x
Tremendous tribute.
Great respect for strenght, devotion, honor and dignity...SAS
