Great 'cobbled' video Stuart which shows just how changeable the Lakes weather can be, even verging on being a little damp!😂😂 Great images and whilst I like both the colour and mono shots I think that the colour one edges it for me. Love the shot from the edge of Tewet Tarn with Saddleback in the background. Congrats on passing 5k but for the life of me I don't know why it's not more. For me, you put out some excellent vlogs. Keep it up. Cheers.

Congrats on £5k subs! We know you don’t earn anything doing these vids but we thoroughly enjoy them as and when they appear…keeps the Lake District in mind for the next holiday. Love the Ulswater photos and prefer the colour version of the mountain layers image! Keep them coming Stuart!

I hope the summer season brought you plenty of customers Stuart. The long shot worked well in both colour and B+W, but the colour edged it for with the subtle tones. Bring on the Autumn vlogs.

Great to see plenty of photography content, not like the others who do nothing but van builds, cooking and camping with virtually no photographic content. Well done.
Wast water reminded me of the time I was there some 20 yeras ago, started to rain so locked the camera gera in the boot, did the full walk all around Wast water only to return to find car broken into, radio trashed and then looked in the boot and all Hasselblad 21/4 and Xpan gear stolen along with the wifes hanbag. Some one found her handbag in Lamplugh and we got that back but sadley no photographic gear found.
Lesson learnt, always take the gear even if there might be no photographs.

I realise your not as consistent as some CZcamsrs but I’m surprised you’ve only got 5k subs. You’re one of my favourite channels to watch, I love the videos you produce (no matter how cobbled together they are! 😅) and I love your images!

Just discovered your channel, like the style and approach you take and some of the images were lovely, particularly the colour version of the moody shot. Very jealous of the area you live in with the lakes and mountains on your doorstep...I live in Norfolk so it tends to be a lot of seascapes for me. Look forward to catching up with your other videos.

I think Blencathra is one of the Lakes finest hills and it has provided me with some remarkable walking days. It is now so good to see your pictures to remind me of those walks and that view from Tewet tarn is superb. I also really liked the picture at 6:09, catching burns in spate is magical and this is a great image. Thanks.

Hi Stuart, much prefer decent content and stunning images than posting for the sake of it. Love visiting the Lakes and your gallery’s corner of Keswick (Nordic Outdoor, Norwegian Store and George Fisher). You must have been out with the camera as you were closed the last time we were up. Cheers Rob, tough to tell to be honest as it gets later and later each year with climate change, it’s probably a little behind I’d say though here in the lakes we had a lot of rain from mid august when it was dry elsewhere so that might be causing it
Had to giggle, last time I was at Tewet Tarn, I got rained on too. Love the light on that one, and I prefer the black and white version of the moody rain shot. Thanks for sharing Stuart.

Lovely to be out and about with you again Stuart. Never managed Tewet Tarn at the right time so I found your trip excellent. Would personally prefer the b&w version of the 400mm shot as i think that adds to the mood. Glad the shops been busy but it reduces the chances of nipping down for the ice cream!

I don't think I will ever tire of seeing the Lake District through your eyes. It's such a privilege to witness the magical conditions the area is blessed with at this time of year, Stu. Even better when you can be in the right place at the right time too!
Again, you've captured some wonderful images, both at Wasdale Head and Tewet Tarn. The latter being particularly special for me, as it brings back some great memories, though it's somewhere I would like to go to again, as there's one shot I would like to try again, as I don;t feel I got my composition right.

I always look forward to your vlogs, Stuart. From my office on the East Coast of the US, I enjoy your lovely scenery, even when things don't go quite as you planned--but that's what makes your vlogs so interesting: one never knows! Like most of the other fans who commented, I prefer the color image to the B&W version; the B&W image seems to lack that mysterious, brooding mood. Keep vlogging and keep shooting! You have an eye many photographers lack.

I really like the honesty in your vlogs, and the fact that you show there are times when things just don’t work because of less than favourable conditions. Gorgeous video, really interesting to see how you work out what light you're looking for and where, based on the expected conditions. Thought the few rainy shots were beautiful too - there's something about sunlight hitting a shower in the Lakes that takes my breath away. I loved the layers of mountain shot too.

Enjoyed the vid a lot Stuart and no problem "cobbling" it together, it shows the Lakedistrict in it's true light (pun intended), seasons changing by the minute! You could argue that it is a truer representation of the weather conditions you guys have to endure to make these vids, more so than the very 'polished' vids, nothing wrong with those either, that fail to tell it like it is out there sometimes. Prefer the mono shot IMHO and Blencathra is my curse having climbed it twice and on both occasions set off in glorious sunshine to be greeted on the top with 10 metre visibility, howling winds and horizontal rain! Guess I need to try again! All the best and cheers, Ray.
Thanks Ray yeah I could certainly do a more ‘polished’ vid in terms of production and planning but the time required vs gain is little to nothing, and has zero bearing on the quality of image produced which is my only concern to be honest. Blencathra is a tricky one to shoot from the top of it, it’s one of the views are generally better than the photographic opportunities to be honest, though there is quite a nice shot looking down sharp edge in the right conditions.
Another great video Stuart, brilliant images and the drone work is awesome too!

I enjoyed seeing some of your images at the start of the vlog from previous days out especially 1:11 in that is a stunning image love the light on the fells and the Heather in the foreground and the Ulswater shot at 1:27 is lovely.
