"But they were all bad" I couldn't have kept a staight face on that! 😂
In Arnold Schwarzenegger’s new show FUBAR they make reference to this line
That's why the actors get paid the big bucks. 🤣 I wonder how many takes some of these scenes take.
@@skygazer858 I know because if it was me and Arnold Schwarzenegger was my costar, I would be laughing my ass off
Best response ever 😂😂😂
I'll be the first to admit that Arnold is not known for his acting chops (omg kindergarten cop was the worst), but how he delivers dead pan comedy lines kills!
Yes, but they were all bad!!! Great line!!! 👍 😊😂
IMO one of Arnold's best lines.
what a delivery.
My Dad always loved that line! 😂. That, and the one afterwards where he tells that bad guys exactly what he's going to do to them.
Definitely one of Arnold's best comedy action films. Jamie Lee Curtis was a fantastic choice . She really shined in this film.
Did you know that Cameron had to convince Arnold she was perfect for the role.
'Shined'? 😅😅😅
@@bradfordruhle- no - and neither do you.
Exactly
Tia ❤
Iconic scene from an iconic action movie.
The last great movie by either Schwarzenegger or Cameron.
Criminal this never had a sequel.
I have watched pretty much everything since 1976. Believe it or not, this is one of my all -time favorite lines: "Are we gonna die?" ... "Yep." That was and still is one of the funniest, most unexpected lines I have every heard. It still make me laugh even after seeing it for the 40th time. Perfect delivery from both of them.
And Helen's snap back when he rambled on about their oncoming demise................ that writer must have been married.
My favourite quote happened a little while later as they escape. Arnie wastes a few baddies and she comes out with " I married Rambo"
Classic!
I do love that Arnie and Stallone keep referencing each other
This was probably Arnolds best acting role. A credit to the writing and direction.
This movie is awesome.
gotta love " I am looking forward to it "
Torturer: And what makes you think you can do all of that?
Harry: You know my handcuffs?
Torturer: Mmm.
Harry: I've picked them.
I dont know who has the better jaw line between the two of them

Watch in HDR for best results! Watching this in SDR may produce colour inaccuracies due to the way CZcams converts HDR to SDR. 😊👋
This ultra HD is awesome!
Jamie Lee Curtis dance scene… good god 13 year old me loved that.
The bit where she falls, was genuinely her falling.
And when Harry gets up to see if she is OK, was actually Arnie getting up to see if Jamie was okay..
But she continued, so he continued..
They later went back and did the closeup of him shaking his head..
I love little things like that, when it wasn't wrote, but it actually played into the story better than it not happening at all...
@@ColinRichardson yep
one of the best movie ever.
Should have had a sequel
Jamie Curtis' best . . .
I really prefer this version of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
go back to .... " now dance...slowly"
In NCIS, they have a scene where DiNozzo and Ziva are tied up in similar fashion. He references this scene as well. Not surprising the bad guy gets killed, but not by DiNozzo or Ziva.
"My boss is a sniper", or something like that.
@@Deinonuchus He tells the guy that he has 30 sec.to live . But he says I'm not the one who's gonna kill you. I just watched the NCIS clips about 5 mins. ago.
It just occurred to me that an interesting alternative to Jamie Lee Curtis playing Harry's wife would've been Sigorney Weaver.
This year is the 30th anniversary of True Lies theatrical release.
"Are we going to die?"
"Yup!"
LOL at that exchange!
But it speaks volumes she didn't ask him if he cheated with the woman played by Tia Carrere.
Juno is one of the best villains in cinema.
Yeuh, but dey wuh all bahd
One of the greatest action movies ever made, and it's all about this married couple reigniting their love for each other. Modern crap like Bourne and John Wick can't touch that sh!t.
Plus daughter Dana gets in on the act too!
She asks him if he has killed anybody. She had just watched him kill three people.
There was nothing i swear got me dying
You got the scene on the bridge?
My daughters mother taught me about true lies.
In hindsight it is a bit wooden and static but still the action and FX in the movie are cool.
I will never forget her in 'Wayne's World', I was agog

Arnold lost me when he said screw your freedom
Yes. Embrace cancel culture. He explained what he was trying to say and admitted that he should have said it differently. But you're right. Cancelling is better. Lol
I can dislike whomever I like. I did not say cancel anyone and I did not support the Marxist banana republic regime we now live in.
Is this UHD HDR or not? Conflicting descriptions.
who cares its YT
Arnie Mr screw your freedom
