I live in an old Mansion in Montford (downtown) and I love it. Dream come true for me to live here, work from home and walk around the neighborhood especially during these Corona times 😉
This was realy helpful, thank you! My fiance and I are looking to move to Ashville - I've never been but she loves it there. This video really helped me get a look at some neighborhoods - I'm legally blind so walkable areas is big for me. Thanks for putting this video together!
don't understand your definition of "walkable", but if you're walking for activity/exercise as well as the scenery, you can't beat Beverly Hills- you're walking around the Municipal golf course- beautiful old homes and some hills, especially around the back 9.

@@livinginashevillenc 😂 , only kidding. Awesome channel. Going to Asheville for Thanksgiving in a Yurt ⛺️ w/ my household family. Browsing the area. Thanks!
Actually - It looks kinda PO-DUNK! I have to wonder...when people here say it's GORGEOUS! - what the hell are they comparing it too? Guess it's an "Amurika" thing. Lisbon, Granada, Rome, Prague, even Mexico City, and New Orleans - that's Beautiful. I keep waiting to see the Clampetts driving their Truck through town - on their way to Beverly...Hills that is!
I will say - parts of downtown are nice...Human-scale, and Montford looks livable, but the rest... Nah! too cracker-jack, Mcmansion, Time-share, or just too PO-DUNK for my taste!
@@livinginashevillenc - Do you know of an affordable B&B near Downtown, or West Asheville? Like most of us now...I have TIME! I'd like to have a 4-5 day visit, and see for myself!
Walkability vs privacy...what's more important ?
walkability! and a place with purpose czcams.com/video/Q1ZeXnmDZMQ/video.html
Walk-ability living behind walls can get tiresome
Weird question: Need to know what lipstick brand/color you are wearing! I can't seem to find a flattering red.

You should take a walk over the Atkinson bridge through Hillcrest. That's a good place for a nice walk!

I think you gotta visit in person to be able to appreciate and see what it is everyone is talking about.
