The craziest part to me is that his food actually looks good. AND his camera work is good. Clearly he could succeed by just shooting genuine cooking content. So my only conclusion is that he genuinely gets off on making love to his ingredients which is hard to wrap my mind around

I checked out his account a while ago and he actually used to upload nice wholesome videos but they barely got any likes or views; he really picked up once he got weird with the food.
No i'm pretty sure he’s doing it because it’s generating clicks, even if people didn’t like it. Engagement is still engagement. I wouldn’t be surprised if his first videos were just normal cooking videos and he switched to this style later on.
