Both sacrifice scenes from guardians of the galaxy will always get me emotional. Yondu was one of my favorite space characters of the big screen. He's an amazing actor and has one of the most underrated Marvel weapons
He may have been your father ...but I was your daddy .was gutted when he bit the dust .
"Let's pile the robe" 😂😂 it's "Let's plow the road". I hope that was computer generated, otherwise you're fired. 😂
In the book, in Independence Day, Russell took his biplane in. They wouldn't let him fly because he was drunk. And as he watched all the jets taking off, he was more determined than ever to rid the planet of these menacing aliens. So he got his biplane assembled, and appeared in the middle of the battle, with a bomb strapped on the wing. The aliens ignored him because his plane had no electronics so they felt he wasn't a threat. They concentrated on the fighter jets. THAT is epic.
Richard E Grant as Loki would have been my number one.
Here's a few other sacrifices by things that aren't quite human, but still hit hard. There aren't too many dry eyes when Hiro Hamada struggles to say, "I am satisfied with my care," allowing Baymax to fire his fist rocket to carry Hiro and Abigail Callaghan to safety at the end of _Big Hero 6._ Baymax shielded Hiro's body with his own several times throughout the film, and he didn't think twice about staying behind in the void if it meant his patients would survive.
She was the unsung eighth main character of the series, which is why it hurt a lot of fans when the _U.S.S. Enterprise_ was self-destructed to, "Turn death into a fighting chance to live," in _Star Trek III: The Search for Spock._ It was the most noble way for the _Enterprise_ to go, as Admiral Morrow told the crew she would be neither repaired nor refitted. The _Enterprise_ "had her day," in Morrow's words, as he claimed she'd never take the pounding of going back to Genesis.
I cracked up at the fact that you guys used the awesome RoboCop theme for the Terminator 2 sacrifice scene!😅
Why did you utilize the Robocop theme over Terminator 2 ?
Clark being impaled on Doomsday's spike whilst plunging the Kryptonite spear into him.
I am really missing Stoik from Httyd as he just got his wife back but sacrificed himself for Hiccup. Really had an impact
Did I miss something.? I didn't recognize the thumbnail in the video
1.99 - UH Duncan Idaho gets resurrected again and again throughout all the many Dune Novels and the actor could be in many many many many many hours of Dune Movies... Dip'sh@t!
Duncan idahois gonna come back because in the book. They basically use his body and create a robot clone type deal. So we're probably gonna see him In the next movie if not the one after
Technically Duncan Idaho comes back later on.
*Supermsn cannot die he'll come back where the stars is there will superman be*
03:17 Merlin, a beloved charracter, makes the ultimate sacrifice ! ...
00:47 Remains one of the saddest scenes in the movie ! ... 😞
9:00 Robocop easter egg here? :-)
I was about to get teary eyed over Armageddon and then a stupid CZcams commercial kicked in. Saved.
Thank god you didn't Who knows what apocalypse could have occurred
I enever understood the wolverine death scene, arent gis ribs made of adamantium, so the wood wouldnt have pierced him?
He got weakened and old due to adamatium poisoning
His bones are adamantium but all the other stuff (tendons, ligaments etc) aren't
Anyone who thinks Loki's sacrifice is better than Braveheart gladiator and independence day obviously has no clue
Boromir will live forever in the house of his fathers. And yes I mean fathers not father's
Agreed.
Number one should be Jesus Christ in Jesus of Nazareth, when he died on the cross, because he really did that. If only most realized that.
