- Buying and getting home the junkyard tow truck I drove 10+ years ago, the 2000 chevy c6500 with a fuel injected 454 has been sitting since 2020 and I purchased the truck with the intentions of getting it operational again, in this video we get it running and drive it home, where I fix the fuel system and test it out, more to come!

I have had two of these over the years, (one of them is my avatar pic) one a 5sp and one a 6 sp, but both were the 3126 cat....which came with its own special issues. I still have mental scars from all the fun things those chassis brought to the table.....the parking brake cable design, the kingpin design, the window regulator and power window mechanism, the blend door and dashboard controls for the HVAC, the windshield wiper linkage and wiper arm hubs.....ugh. But i like where you are coming at this from, hopefully u got it cheap, and i like that its a gasser. Subbing you to see how this goes!
Thank you I appreciate it! Hoping to make a good truck out of it again, don’t plan on doing any serious towing, mostly moving my junk around and bring more junk home, but it’s been a fun project so far and I got plenty more to do

Get these truck, restore and get it back on a road. We have rebuild our country back up. Get these vehicles that are banned in like this or for truck. That doesn't have doesn't mean it's a role back. They'll get one out of the half. I want to jump yard and that's convert that truck into two flatbed for telling.

In similar condition around here they’re going anywhere from $7500 to $15,000
